(设计意图：通过以旅行为话题，激发学生们的学习热情，并由此来做一组简单的动作，不仅用到了第一单元的几个重点的动词短语，并且能活跃课堂气氛。) 3 Review Let’s play a game, can you guess what is it? (Tian’anmen Square, the Palace Museum, the Great Wall, Wangfujing Street.) (设计意图：通过图片复习本单元北京的重要地点和重点句子，并通过小的思维导图将第二单元的内容串联起来，激发学生思维。) Step 2 While-reading 1About the story, do you want to know something? What do you want to know? 给学生两个关键词 who how ,能够让学生提出Who will go to the Great Wall? How do they go to the Great Wall? 然后听录音，验证他们问题的答案。并给出第一幅图，再次订正答案。

(设计意图：让学生发散思维，关于故事想要知道什么，在阅读中也能验证自己提出的问题是否在故事中得到验证是一种很好的阅读体验。)

继续追问 How can we keep the Great Wall clean and beautiful? (设计意图：通过先听录音，再回答Danny和Li Ming分别做了什么。不仅锻炼学生听力的能力，而且通过听音模仿的环节，加深孩子对保护长城的意识。)

For Jenny the Great Wall is a wonderful place to visit, she is very lucky to see it. For our Chinese people, we have the Great Wall, so we should love it and protect it.
