《英语课程标准》中明确指出，英语课程标准中强调课程要从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发，倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式，提高学生实际运用语言的能力，使语言学习的过程同时成为学生形成积极情感，大胆实践，主动思维的过程。根据此教学理念，我进行了本课的教学设计。

教学背景分析

教学内容：

本课是北京出版社出版的义务教育教科书《英语》小学六年级下册第二单元

Can you tell me more about her?第三课时的教学内容。本单元的话题是人物，主要涉及亲戚，朋友等。主要复习介绍人物的年龄，样貌，职业，生日等相关信息，也包含了介绍人物擅长做什么，喜欢做什么等。

本课时的对话情景是Sara要上乒乓课，有点紧张，Baobao向她介绍教练的年龄，样貌和主要年龄特征等，主要功能句型是Can you tell me more about her? She’s… . 本课时的重点是：1.学生能理解对话内容，能运用功能句介绍他人的年龄，样貌，性情等信息。2.能写一段话介绍自己或者他人善于做的事情和爱好。

教学的难点是能写一段话来介绍自己善于做的事和自己的爱好。（介绍一下单元间的知识联系）

学生分析：

本课授课对象为六年级的学生。他们对英语学习保持着浓厚的兴趣，喜欢参与多样的课堂活动中。经过五年半的英语学习，学生已经有一定的英语基础，已经熟悉或者掌握了介绍人物的年龄，生日，样貌，职业等的相关信息的功能句型和词汇。本课时在复习上述知识的基础上，在情景中交际运用。
