Step 1. Warm-up 1. greetings Say hello to the students when they arrive in the classroom. 2.

Ask students to say a vedio and guess “Where is it?”(Students say “It’s Beijing”.)

Lead in Beijing and ask students to talk about Beijing.

(Be sure to praise the students who are brave in providing information. See if anyone is willing to stand up and tell you about a trip they have in Beijing or elsewhere in China.) 3.Show some pictures of Beijing. Step 2. Presentation 1..Tell students Jenny,Danny,Li Ming and Mrs Li arrive in Beijing today and ask students

to listen to the radio and find out :When do they arrive in Beijing? 2. Then I tell students Jenny, Danny, Li Ming and Mrs. Li see a park on their way to the hotel and let students guess what they see in the park.

3.show a picture of a park: Teacher: There are many people in the park.(板书many people,领读) Teacher:Look! There are some men.(show a picture of some men)

4.Show a picture of a man and some men: Learn the singular and plural nouns . 5.Teach woman and women,child and children in the same way. 6.Play a game:What’s missing?(Practice the new words) Step 3. Practice 1.Play a game: Let’s climb the Great Wall. (Do some exercises.) 2.Read the text after the tape. Step 4. Consolidation and extension Play a vedio and ask students to know more about Beijing. Step 5. Summary Make a summary of this class. Step 6. Homework

1.Talk about Beijing with your friends. 2.What do you see on your way to school? Write it on your exercise books.
