一、教学目标

A: Knowledge aims：

Master new words: stop, wait, thousand, afraid, cap, hat. b.

学会运用句型How old……? , How long……?来进行问答。

B: Ability aims: Students can make a dialogue easily about travel. C: Feeling aims: Make students feel that He who doesn’t go to the Great Wall isn’t a true man! 二、学情分析

五年级学生处于小学的高级阶段，他们大部分年龄在十一岁与十二岁之间，生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏，比赛特别感兴趣。通过前两年的英语学习，他们已经具备初步的英语听说能力。但是，随着课本难度的不断增大，

一部分学生开始感觉学习吃力，对于英语的学习兴趣开始逐渐降低。因此，

教师一定要注重培养学生的学习兴趣，激发他们对英语的学习积极性和信心，鼓励学生参与到教学活动中来，发挥学生的学习能动性，让学生真正成为学习的主体。

三、教学重难点

C. Students can make a dialogue easily about travel. D. Make students feel that He who doesn’t go to the Great Wall isn’t a true man! 四、设计理念

本节课从学生的兴趣出发，设计了几个活动，让学生在玩中学，在教知识的同时又关注了学生的情感态度。整节课以学生的自主学习为主，让学生自己解决问题。教师从听说读写各方面锻炼了学生的综合语言运用能力。
