Unit 5 Being Helpful (Period One) Ⅰ. 教学内容:
1.
Vocabulary :take out the trash
hang up your clothes

Target :
Can you take out the trash,please?
Sure.I’ll take it out.
Sorry. I’m busy now . Ⅱ.教学目标:
1.语言知识目标:学习用英语请求、同意、拒绝帮助和表述家务劳动。
2.语言技能目标:(1)能正确运用本单元目标语言提出请求和回应请求。
(2)掌握三组家务劳动短语。
3.情感态度目标:(1)培养学生热爱劳动、乐于助人的生活品质。
(2)培养学生的小组合作精神。
Ⅲ.教学重点:熟练掌握Vocabulary部分的三组动词短语。
Ⅳ.教学难点:在具体情境中运用本单元句型进行询问和回应请求。
Ⅴ.教具准备:PPT , 单词卡片,相应的练习题纸张
Ⅵ.教学过程:
Step 1 : Warming up
(1)
师生问候。

Let’s sing a song “ I’m excited today !”
Step 2: Presentation ( Talk about the ability of housework) (1)T: You did a good job . And how do you feel now ? Are you excited ? I’m very excited today. Do you know why ?
(2) ( PPT出示日历图片。

T: Yes , it’s May 28 today .Children’s Day is coming . I’m going to have a party at home . (幻灯片出示儿童节聚会的场面。)Do you want to come to the party and get some stars? (教师出示五星奖励磁卡,分组进行比赛奖励五星磁卡。)
Ss: Yes . T: OK. And before the party, Ms. Yu wants to know what housework you can do at home ?
T: Can you sweep the floor at home ? Can you … ?
(幻灯片呈现学生已学家务劳动的动词短语。教师放慢语速,通过调查学生的家务能力,自然引出本节课目标语言:Can you… ? )

T: Good . You are all helpful at home . So today we are going to learn Unit 5 Being Helpful . (教师板书

Step 3: Read the Target sentences for learning the new words and sentences
(1) Ur, who’s coming ?
( PPT播放Gogo 的图片。)
T: Oh , Gogo would like to come to the party , too . Can Gogo come ? Is he as helpful as you ? Now Let’s look at Target and read by yourselves !

T: What housework do Mr. Green and Jenny ask Gogo to do? Can you find any phrases about homework in the dialogs?
Ss :Yes .
引导学生找出Target中出现的家务短语:

主要句型结构:

. Sorry. I’m busy now .
T: You all did a good job. I’m proud of you.
教师顺应情境表扬学生,并引出新句型“I’m proud of you. ”引导学生
理解新句型。
Step4: Practice
(1)PPT播放Target句子,学生跟读。请学生为图配音,比一比谁读得更好。
(2)Role play
Put Ss into pairs and have them act out the dialogs . (3) Extension : Ask and answer
T:Well done . And can you make some new dialogs according to the form?

PPT 呈现练习表格,请学生根据表格内容进行对话练习。可以先请一

对学生做示范。)
Give pairs time to ask and answer , and then have some pairs to act out the dialogs.
Step5:Song activity (1)
T: Now let’s learn a new song , we can sing it at the party . Play the PPT, and have Ss write the sentences in the blanks . (2)
Play the PPT to have Ss practice singing . (3)
Divide the class into two groups . One sings the question part and the other sings the answer part . Then switch . (4)
Extension : 选择自己最擅长的三件家务劳动改编歌曲,在教师发放的练习卡中将歌词补充完整。
Step6:Summary:小结本节课所学内容。并对本节课获得最多星星奖励的小组表示祝贺。
T: Excenllent , boys and girls . You’re so lovely this class. From now on , I’m sure you’ll be more helpful. Do you think so ? Let’s see which group got more stars ? Congratulations for you ! Step7: Homework a)
制作单词卡片。
b) 把课堂上改编的新歌词抄写在练习本上,并唱给家人听。
