Review the words: blue,

green, yellow and red

2) Ability objects:

Learn the new words and sentences: white , black, orange, brown

Colour it brown! Stand up. Sit down. Touch the ground. Turn around.

3) Moral objects:

Improve Ss’ interest in English.

Make Ss learn to enjoy the beauty of the colours. Teaching key points and difficult points:

1) Ss can master the new words and describe different objects’ colours.

2) Ss can understand the orders and do right actions. Teaching methods:

Warming up

2. Enjoy the song “ I am a painting master”.

Step 2

Presentation Review the colour words

by asking the objects’ colours. Look at the pictures, learn the new words. Match the words with the pictures. Step 3 Look for colours

The teacher says a colour word, let Ss find the objects of this colour.(Devide the ss into four groups, the group which can say the most is the best.) Step 4 Play a guessing game

Ask a student to come to the front, he/ she can choose one crayon, then the other Ss guess the colour of the crayon. Step 5 Let’s do

Listen to the tape.

Follow the teacher to read the sentences do the actions.

Ask four Ss to practice in the front. Step 6 Pass a sentence

Let’s play a game: Pass a sentence. Step 7 Do a summary
