Teaching difficult To say sentences with “ I like... “ or “ I don’t like....”

points Step 1 . Greetings. The teacher and students say hello to each other. Step 2. Warming up. The students stand up and say a chant with the teacher. Then the teacher shows the title to the students and they write the title together. Step 3. Review the words.

(1)The teacher draws some pictures on the blackboard. According to the pictures,the students review some words. Then the teacher should tell all the students that they will have a match today.

(2) Then the teacher shows the words to the students quickly, lets the students read the words loudly and quickly. Step 4. New knowledge present.

(1) The teacher takes a football and says, “It’s a football and I like football very much”.

(2) Then the teacher should write “I like”on the blackboard and teach the students to read. First, only “I like”, then lead the students to say a whole sentence with “I like...”.

(3) The teacher picks up some cards,the students do the actions like the teacher and say the sentences, too. (4) The teacher asks some students if they like football or basketball, but if they don’t like, the teacher should teach “I don’t like...”.

Step 5. Drill.

Play a game.

The teacher has two boxes. There is a smiling face and a crying face in them.

And also some cards about sports. The students should pick up a face and a card, then make a sentence with them. Step 6. Text learning.

(1) First ,let the students listen to text . (2) Second, they will read the text after the teacher. (3) Third, they should read the text by themseleves.

(4) At last, the students will read the text with their deskmates or in their groups. Step 7. Consolidating.

We will play another game named “Sing a different tune”. For example, the teacher says “I like...”, then the students should say “I don’t like...”.

Step 8. Summary.

The students think back what they’ve learned today with the teacher . Step9.Homework

The students will make a form when they get home. They can ask some friends what they like, and fill out their answers on the form.
