Teaching Aims 1.

By using courseware, cards and playing games, students can listen , read and say the five phrases: reading a newspaper, answering the phone, watering the flowers, climbing the hill, taking pictures. 2.

Through watching video, making sentences, asking and answering practice, students can understand and use the sentences “What’s she /he doing?”/ “She / he is ...”

Through listening , reading , role play and making dialogues , students can listen , read and act out the dialogues , and get to know how to treat others courteously and develop habits of good manners . Key Points

Learn to say the sentences “ What’s she / he doing?” Difficult Points 1.

The pronunciation about the words----newspaper, answering, watering, climbing. 2.

To use the sentences “What’s she / he doing?” 3.

Talk about their favorite subject each other. 4.

The students can use the program 主语 + be + 动词ing --- 现在进行时

Step 2 . Presentation and Practice 1.

Talk about the video and answer the questions. (1)

Ask and answer: What’s she / he doing? She / he is.... （通过对动画片中人物的提问，检验学生观看是否认真。同时使学生初步了解新授句型并使用。）

(2) Look at the pictures and guess. (通过这一环节，使学生进一步加深对新授句型的理解并能进行初步问答。同时通过猜词的方式引入新授短语，使学生在猜测的过程中对新授短语加深理解。) 2.

Ask and answer. （通过这一环节，使学生进一步练习新授句型的相互问答，并结合之前学习的短语内容，对句型问答进行扩展练习。）

Game time. Look at the pictures and choose one to ask each other. If the student can’t answer they can ask for help.

(第一遍合书静听并完成判断题) (3). Read silently and match. (第二遍默读并连线) (4). Learn and exercise the new phrases. （在回答连线问题的环节中，引出连个新授短语。使学生在初步理解课文的基础上理解掌握新授短语并进行相应扩展练习。）

(6). Read in pairs and act. (7). Fill in the blanks. (8). Retell the dialogue. Look at the pictures and tips to retell the dialogue. （通过复述课文可以使学生更加理解课文，并加深对新授句型和短语的记忆。提高学生的语言组织能力和表达能力。）
