一、教学目标: (一)知识与技能

1. 能听,说,认读新单词:ocean, far, dangerous, glad, faster,owl wish, sky, remembered, situation, made your bed. 2. 能理解并熟读句子:

Excuse me,

How do I get to the ocean? Excuse me. Can you tell me the way to the ocean? I’m faster than the lion. I wish my friend could see it. 3.能听懂并理解故事,并尝试分角色表演这个故事。 (二)

过程与方法

通过图片法、交际法、角色表演法和练习法,使学生能够在教师的指导下通过参与与合作等方法理解本节课的故事内容,提高学生的阅读能力和表演能力。

(三)情感态度与价值观

1、使学生根据对故事的理解和小组成员配合表演故事来激发学生学习英语的热情。

2、培养学生坚持自己的梦想不轻易放弃的理念和机智应对各种问题的能力。

二、教学重点

1、能听、说、认读新单词及句型。

2、能听懂、理解小故事。

三、教学难点

复述并表演小故事。

六、班级学情分析

本节课是故事教学,学生都很感兴趣,其中涉及到以前所学的一些知识点,如问路How do I get to the ocean?以及动物单词。另外关于dream也是学生谈过的话题,应该说有利于学生学习。但是有些新单词和句子,不是很好读,学生容易产生畏难情绪,对于故事的读与演会带来障碍,这个要在教学过程中要注意和突破。

课时安排:一课时

教学过程:

课堂导入

Step1 Warm up 1、Greeting. 2、Talk freely in class.

合作探究

Presentation 1、Listen and answer. What does the rabbit want to do? Make the students answer the question and learn the new word

ocean. 2、Ask students to read the story quickly and answer the following

questions: How many animals are there in the story? Who are they?(Show the pictures of the animals and learn the new word owl) 3、A、Let’s think. Is it easy to see the ocean? B、Make students to guess.

C、Listen to Picture1 and learn the new words far and dangerous.(多媒体展示)

Now the rabbit is on the way to the ocean. Who will he meet? 4、Listen to picture2-4 and ask the following questions: Does the lion show the way to the rabbit? What does he want to do? Does the lion eat the rabbit at last?

5、Listen and read picture1-picture4 together. 6、Role-reading competition 7、A little act show. 8、Read situations B,C and D and ask students to answer the following questions: Does the snake show the way to the ocean?

Can the elephant show the way? Who tells the rabbit the way to the ocean? 9、Read and choose. 10、Listen to picture 12-13 and ask the following questions: Does the rabbit see the ocean? Is he happy? Why? Step3 Practice and groupwork

1、Listen to the tape and read after the tape.

2、Groupwork: Read in roles.
