Television Step 1 Warming up
Today we’ll talk about television. TV is short for television. There are many different TV programmes. Different people like different programmes. Children usually like cartoons. Do you often watch TV? Oh, no, you have to do your homework after school.
Now let’s get to know some TV programmes. Step 2 Presentation
The first one is cartoon. Do you like cartoons? Yes, the children usually like cartoons.
The second one is sports programme. People can see some sports games. Does your father like sports programmes? Yes, many men like it.
The third one is science fiction film. All of you must like this programme.
And next one is detective film. Detective films are very interesting. Most of people like it.
And this one is nature programme. Many children like watching nature programmes. They think they are supernatural.
The last one is romantic film. Most of your mothers like romantic films. Does your mother like it? Yes.

And now please talk about your favourite programmes in groups first. Then we can talk in class. And tell me about your favourite programmes.
