Teaching Procedures: Step1 Greeting and lead-in 1.

Daily greeting to students as usual. (1 minute) 2.

Show some pictures to review the language we’ve learned last lesson. How to describe people’s looks, hair, height, build (4 minutes) Step 2：Presentation

1. Look at the questions and listen to the tape in 2a. For the first time, the students only listen. For the second time , listen and answer the questions. Then ask several students to read their answers out. Check the answers. (4 minutes) 2. Listen to 2a again twice, let students fill in the chart and ask several students to check the answers.(5 minutes) 3. Listen an read after the tape.(3minutes) 3. Work in pairs. Student A looks at the chart in 2b. Student B asks Student A questions about one of

the people and then draws a picture of the person. Give them some time, then show the result , ask and answer. (4 minutes) 4. Play a game. Let’s be detectives. Find the answers. (3 minutes) Step 3 Consolidation & Practice 1. Look at the picture in 2d, get some information. (2 minutes)
