一、教材分析

本课是小学英语第四册unit3 All about me中的一课。本单元围绕

“我”的话题展开。内容包括谈论年龄，身高，家庭住址，以及上学方式和喜欢做的事情。本课询问他人的生日和年龄，话题贴近生活，易于学生理解和接受。

二、学情分析

本节课的授课对象是小学四年级的学生，他们想象力丰富，乐于参加表演，喜欢做游戏，急于得到别人特别是老师的肯定。（我在教学中会用“You can do it.”“That’

s great.”“

You have a good idea. ”等话语鼓励表扬学生，让学生敢说。）在第二单元中，学生已对序数词，月份进行了学习，从而为本课

的学习打好了基础，减小了难度。由于教学内容形象直观，贴近生活，学生兴趣浓厚。

四、教学重难点

重点：学生能够用How old are you? I’m ---years old 进行问答。

难点：用具体日期描述生日。

多媒体课件、Jenny手偶。

六、教学过程

I. Class Opening and Review

1. Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls.

S: Hello, Miss Li.

T: How are you today?

S: I’m fine, thanks. And you?

T: I’m very well, thank you.

1. Look, who is coming?(拿出Jenny 手偶)

T：

T: Good. Look at here. How are you?

How old are you? (板书How are you?让学生回忆，再加上old，学生试读）
