教学内容
本课是人教版《英语》五年级下册Unit 2 My favourite season的第五课时。本节课的主要教学任务是引导学生通过学习go on a picnic
go swimming
pick apples
make a snowman 四个词汇,围绕单元话题,用句型“Which season do you like best? I like ____best.
Why?
Because I often _________________.”
进行替换操练,最终实现在日常生活中运用所用语言。
在Part A 的学习中,学生已掌握了表示四季几个单词,以及“Which season do you like best? ______“等句型,为本课的学习做好了铺垫。

设计思路
本节课以对话教学理念为指导,创设与澳大利亚小朋友用微信讨论最喜欢的季节活动的情景,使学生在生活化的语境中学习和运用本课新学语言。这样的教学设计使学生既获得了语言知识,又培养了其单词记忆及连读的能力,同时发展了学生的跨文化交际能力充分体现了英语课程工具性与人文性的统一。

1知识目标
(1)能听、说、读、写短语go on a picnic, go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman. (2)掌握一些简单连读规律。
2能力目标
能用以下句型交流:“Which season do you like best? I like ____best.
Why?
Because I often _________________.”
3情感目标
引导学生积极参与课堂教学活动,提高学生学习英语兴趣,结合学习内容,培养学生的表现力,养成学生用英语交际的良好习惯,通过谈论季节,培养学生热爱大自然的良好情感态度。

教学过程
Step1: Warm Up and Review
1教师围绕本课课题,与学生谈论天气,季节,喜欢做得事。对话如下:
What’s your name? _____, how are you? What’s the weather like today? Which season is it today? What do you often do on the weekend? [设计意图] 由与本单元内容相关的歌曲导入课堂,由于借班上课,以师生互动的方式,师生说一说自我信息,彼此熟悉,打破坚冰。
2教师与学生一起跟唱歌曲
3借助歌曲的图片及声音师生对话如下:
What can you see? What can you hear? Which picture is spring? Why do you say that? [设计意图] 引导学生说一说季节,天气及经常做的活动,复习本单元Part A 的知识,此环节通过师生间的口头交流,使学生初步接触了本节课的话题。
Step 2:
Presentation and Practice 1.创设交流情景,让学生明确语用目的。
教师在多媒体设备上呈现澳大利亚男孩想来武强,想了解武强最好季节,并询问同学们帮助。
T:Today,
I have another friend. He is from Australia. He wants come to our Wuqiang. First he asks you for some help. 教师先播放Jack的录音,引导学生与Jack互动问好。
Jack:Hello, I am Jack. Ss: Hi. Jack: I am from Australia. Where are you from? Ss: We are from China.
Jack:
I live in the capital city of Australia, Canberra. You are my new friends. Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you! Jack: I want to go to Wuqiang. Which season do you like best? What do you often do in each season? [设计意图] 此环节教师创设了使用微信的交流情景并引出新知,教师首先让学生明确本节课的语用目的-----与朋友谈论最喜欢的季节及原因。在模拟的情景中,本课的学习活动成为了运用所学语言完成真实任务的过程。
2、学习新词go swimming (1)呈现操练
T: I l came to Wuqiang today. There are so many tall green trees. It’s so beautiful. so, I like summer best. Hi, everybody, what do you often do in this hot summer? Ss:……
教师引导学生说出swim,引出
go swimming
并板书出语言支架即重点句型“Which season do you like best? I like ____best.
Because(the weather)_________________. I often (do something) _________________.”
在微信上向Jack表述教师自己喜欢summer及原因,并引导喜欢summer学生向Jack表述自己的意愿。
(2)教师讲解”go doing”这一短语形式,拓展出
go shopping, go fishing, go skating….. [设计意图] 学生通过头脑风暴的形式说出夏季经常做的事,发散孩子们的英语思维,引导孩子们游泳时注意安全。语法教学引导学生学会掌握规律拓展新词,学生们在与Jack的交流中,学习运用新词,表达自己的意愿。
3、学习短语pick apples (1)呈现与操练
屏幕上出现新一条信息,Jack回信息:
I like fresh fruit and vegetables. Which season can we eat them?
Ss: Autumn. T: Autumn is a golden. That is a harvest season, farmers are busy. In autumn, which fresh fruit do you often eat? Ss:……
T: Have you ever picked apples? Maybe yes maybe no. (2)拓展运用:谈论采摘其他农作物。
When I was a little girl I always help my parents, maybe today you don’t need to pick some crops. But you should help your parents to do some housework.
[设计意图] 展示最喜欢的季节及原因,并渗透感恩教育。
4、学习新词make a snowman T: go skating,go skiing,
Which season can we do this things? Ss: winter. T: What’s the weather like in Wuqing in winter? What can you see in winter? T: besides go skating, go skiing , what else do you do in winter? You can ask your partner like this: I often go skiing, Hi!What do you often do in winter? _____________ 引导学生转述:
He/She often does _______________ in winter. 引导出新短语
make a snowman 接着领读短语,借助让学生简单接触连读规律。
由学生向Jack借助语言支架向Jack喜欢的季节及原因。
[设计意图] 语言表达出现递进与层次,由I often do______.递进到
He/She often does_______.教师通过让学生跟读模仿,掌握一些简单的连读规律。
5、学习短语go on a picnic. (1)呈现与操练
屏幕上出现一条信息,Jack回信息,Thank you everyone! I like spring in Australia.
There are many beautiful flowers. The trees have new leaves. Everyone likes to go outside to play. What about you, my new friends? 引出go on a picnic新短语,
由学生向Jack 回答,在美好的春天里,都做了那些户外活动。
(2)拓展运用:
T: I like to go on a picnic with my family. Who do you like to go outside with? Ss: ……
T: Hi! My kids, the world is so big. You should go outside to play? After picnic, remember don’t leaves any garbage. Keep the grass clean. [设计意图] 进一步学习连读, 提升学生的朗读能力,学生介绍与谁一起游玩的过程中,将新旧知识联系起来,促进了知识的有效迁移。Keep the grass clean也渗透了第六单元的知识点。
6 Seasons come and seasons go, Changing all the time. So we should love the seasons and enjoy the seasons. 感受完四季的美好,重新定位一下最喜欢的季节及缘由。

展现一个完整的话论,让学生自主选择,向Jack介绍自己喜欢的季节及缘由。
7 回归文本,解读教材
带问题听文本。
(1)Which season does Amy like best?
Why? (2) Which season does Miss White best?
Why? Step3: Consolidation and Extension Jack向大家介绍Australia的季节及最喜欢的季节及原因。(接着,课件播放展示Australia的孩子喜欢的四季的短片)
Australia lies south of the equator. And its seasons are different from Chinese seasons. I live in Canberra. It’s south of Australia. Winter is from June to August. It’s not very cold . I often go skiing at Smiggin Holes or read book in the library. After winter ,Spring is coming. It’s
from September to November. There are lots of flowers everywhere. I often plant flowers with my family. Summer is not every hot in Canberra too. I like to play tennis with my friends. My favourite season is fall. The leaves fall and fall and fall. There are lots of leaves in our yard. I often lie in them and watch the sky. What a lovely season! 最后,现场师生和Jack在微信上告别。教育们学生们网络安全,提醒学生应在父母的监督下用微信交友聊天。

[设计意图] 这是一个听说读写相结合的训练任务。写作框架降低了学生写的难度,小组合作更容易激发学习兴趣及学习动机,提高学习效果。
Step4:Homework 1.完善给Jack的回信。
2.设计一张最美武强的四季手抄报。
[设计意图] 课后作业弥补了课上时间有限,空间局限的问题。作为课堂的延续,课后作业即使学生巩固了所学语言,又拓宽了学生学习和运用语言的途径,使学生能充分地体验和内化新语言。
板书设计:
