1. Language goals: 1). Consolidate the twelve months and ordinal numbers. 2). Most of the students in this class have a good commond of English. They are very interested in this subject. They are eager to know more knowledge. They regard English as amuseument , not a burden. So I’m sure they will perform better and better. 3重点难点

活动1【导入】When Is It Show three cards to lead the students to find the rule of expressing dates: months+ the + ordinal numbers. Ask the students to practice more dates like January the first, May the first, June the first, September the first and October the first. T: In fact, these dates are very special. For example, January the first is 新年. Then ask them to try to say the others like this. T:But do you know the English names of these festivals? S:No. T: Now look at the following pictures and let’s learn them together. 活动2【讲授】When Is It 1. Teach the new phrases about the six festivals according to the pictures. Ask students to read them one by one until they can say them fluently.
