Teaching objectives:

Knowledge objectives: (1)Students can learn some new words and phrases from the text

(2)Students know what happened in the story. Ability objectives: (1)Students’ skills of skimming and scanning will be improved.

(2)Students’ ability to analyze and solve problems will be cultivated.

Emotional objectives: Students can be careful with fire and have basic skills to protect themselves when there is a fire. Teaching key and difficult points: (1)Help the students get an overall understanding of the reading material.
