一、教学目标：

1.能够正确使用以及认读下列词汇,如：fun, free, cool, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. 2.能够掌握目标句型：

--What’s your favorite subject?

--My favorite subject is…

--Because it’s …

--Who is your …teacher?

3.能够利用听力材料培养学生对一星期七个英文单词的掌握。

二、教学重点：谈论有关于课程表

三、教学难点：能正确掌握并使用关于星期的单词以及使用目标语言结构等

四、教学过程：

Step 1. Warming up: 1.Greet the class as usual. 2.

preview the subjects that Ss have learnt before . 1

Step 2. Presentation 1.The teacher guides the Ss to see “what’s in the apple tree ?”to show

“The day of the week” and then ask the Ss to point out days of the week.

2.Teach the words of seven days in a week by asking the following two questions: 1) What day is it today? 2) How many days are there in a week？What are they?

3. Let students read the words after teacher. 4.play a guessing game 5.learn the new words

Step 3. Practice 1. Guide the Ss to match the words on the left with their opposites on the right in 1a, then check the answers. 2. Guide the Ss to read these words together.

3.do some Listening 1b&1c 1b: Listen to the tape for the first time and check the adjectives you hear in 1a. 1c:1. Listen for the second time and circle the classes David talks about on the schedule. Then check the answers. Listen again and try to find out what subjects

Step 4.Pair work 1.Ask students to finish 1d and then check the answers. 2.Ask a pair of Ss to read the conversation. 3.Ask Ss to talk about David’s favorite subjects with their partner, and then talk about their favorite subjects. And ask some pairs to act it out. Step5.Summary Let students know what we have learnt this class.
