5A -Unit 11 Water-Period1教学设计
教学目标:1. 学生会拼读Look and learn 中的生词。
2. 学生通过Listen and say 的情景对话,让学生开展听录音朗读、问答等活动,帮助学生掌握核心句型。
3. 学生通过了解水资源的短缺,从而培养节约用水的意识。
教学重点:1. 学生能够拼读use, clothes, farmer, useful, grow crops, put out fires。
2. 学生能够在真实的语境中使用We use water to...来对水的用途进行讨论。
教学难点:学生可以运用本节课的重点句型,以小组的形式自编自演关于水的小对话。
Pre-task preparations
1. 和学生齐唱
Rain rain go away 歌曲,活跃课堂。
2. 出示水滴的英文视频,让学生回答问题,引出本课主题。
T: Today we have a friend. He wants to say hello to us. Do you want to meet him. Watch the video and tell me Who is the friend. (在黑板上出示主题)

T: Today we will learn more about water with Ms Guo. Watch the cartoon and tell me what does Ms Guo ask?
While-task procedures 1.
出示全文视频,让学生回答问题。
T: Can you remember the questions? What does Ms Guo ask? S1: Where does water come from? S2: How do we use water? (把两个问题贴在黑板上) T:Let’s think about question one. Where does water come from? (把句型It comes from...贴在黑板上) S1: It comes from the sea. S2: It comes from the rain. S3: It comes from the tap. 教师领读黑板上的句型,学生跟读。

词汇拓展,思维扩展。
T: Do you have other ideas? Ss:It comes from the snow/ice/snow/mountain/hill/cloud/waterfall/ocean/river/lake/
教师将答案写在黑板上。
教师对学生的答案进行总结,Water comes from... a lot of places. And the water is recycled all the time. 3.
出示文章,学生读文章,将How do we use water的答案画下来。
T: Read the second part. And underline the answers. 教师将We use water to... S1: We use water to ... 教师将答案贴到黑板上。

出示农民用水和消防员用水的图片。
T:Who uses water to grow crops? S1: Farmers use water to grow crops. S2: Firemen use water to put out fires. 5.
教师出示各行各业用水的照片,让四个同学一组去讨论,他们如何使用水。如果有不会的单词,教师可以引导他们说出来。

四人一组,一个人是Ms Guo,自己编写对话。
上前面展示。
老师必须在活动之前有指导,说一些提示词Good morning, children...等等
这个活动要有奖励。

Water is very useful. But if we don’t have water, can we do all of the things? 出示几幅图片,渗透情感教育。节约用水,保护水资源。
