Step 1. Pre—task preparations

1.Greetings. T: Good morning,boys and girls. How are you today? Ss: I’m fine. Thank you . And you?

T: I’m very well.

2.Listen to a song.《the music man》

T：I like singing. Let’s listen to a song.

由歌曲语境中的音乐人引出与话题有关的乐器单词，为新课铺垫，又激发了学生的兴趣。

Step 2. While—task procedures 1. Look and learn. T: Look! This is the music man.Is he super? Ss: Yes, he is. T: He can play some musical instruments.What can he play? Listen! What can you hear? S: I can hear a piano. ①It has a big body. It has many keys. It goes””ding-ding”. What is it? A piano. ②It’s a triangle. It has three sides. It goes “ting-ting”.A triangle. ③It has four strings. It goes “ zing-zing”. A violin. ④It’s big and round. It goes “ boom-boom”. A drum.

用课件展示music instruments(

钢琴、吉他、小提琴、三角铁、鼓)，学生了解乐器，并跟读musical instruments，教师板书单词，学习新词guitar, piano, violin,

单词drum和triangle为拓展词，教师请根据实际情况选用。并教给学生记忆词汇的方法。

2.Let’s read and spell.

piano /violin /triangle /drum a. 先出示歌曲里的四个乐器。学生跟录音和老师朗读。

b. 学生根据单词读音，填入所缺的字母。

c. 再全班拼读加深记忆。

d.看图猜单词。

活动内容：回答问题，掌握单词在句子里的运用

活动目的：学会如何表达弹奏乐器

操作方法：教师提问What can he play?用He can play the piano.回答作为例句。让学生跟读He can play the _______。

7.练习句型Whose guitar is it? It’s …’s ______. 1）教师与个别学生示范问答，然后引导学生进行问答。

2）出示吉他图片（在吉他图旁边写上Joe 的名字），然后进行问答操练。同法练习Kitty’s violin. 2) Pair work

Read, copy and spell the words in “Look and learn” on page 27.

2. Listen to and preview “Listen and say” on page 26.
