Step I Lead- in

With the development of economy, traveling has become a hot topic in our daily life. I have my favorite city---Xia Men. I invite students to watch a video about Xiamen, and let them appreciate the city. Then a conversation between Xiao Li andJohn Martin will bring more information about Xia Men .(导出本节课的课文，引起学生求知欲) Step II Reading: A Lively City

Ask the students to read the passage for two minute and finish the following task. (They have a preview of the reading material last night.) Let students have a general idea about the passage and find some adjectives used to describe a city. Task Design:
