Teaching procedures and ways Step 1 Pre-listening Revision. We have learned some basic skills for listening. While we are listening to a conversation or a monolog, we should pay special attention to the stressed words, reduced words, linking words, and words of sound superposition and loss plosion. 1. Ask the students to read the following sentences with reduced words: Are you going to school? Let’s sing and sing and sing.

Then ask them to listen to the sentence and fill in the blanks: Christmas used
