Firstly, try to get into an open area away from trees, buildings, walls and power lines. These things might fall on you if you are outdoors. Secondly, if you can’t easily get out of the house, move quickly under a strong thing such as a strong desk. It is to protect yourself from falling things. Be careful and wait until the earthquake is over.

Thirdly, when the earthquake is over, make sure your family members are safe, because they concern you most. After you are sure about the safety of your family, you can work together to help other people. They may need help.

Earthquakes bring us damage. Though we can’t stop earthquakes, we can reduce the damage if we take right measures. E. Homework
