Important Teaching Point: Enable the students to polish paragraph 2 of their compositions from three perspectives taught in this class, including the structure of the paragraph, the variety of expressions and sentence patterns.

Teaching Aims: 1. Enable the students to know how to evaluate a composition and have a better understanding

of the characteristics of a good writing. 2. Enable the students to polish their compositions from three perspectives taught in this class,

including the structure of the paragraph, the variety of expressions and sentence patterns. 3. Help the students to raise the awareness of valuing our own excellent traditional culture

and promoting cultural exchange and interaction.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1: Lead in 1. Present the writing task and ask the students to figure out the writing purpose, tense

and information of the composition. 2. Ask the students to figure out the outline of the composition. 3. Show a model essay for paragraph 1 and 3.
