Unit 4 In town 教学设计

一教学目标:

1 通过情景的创设学生会读会认九个关于公共设施的单词。在认读的过程中培养学生语音意识。

2 通过情景的创设,学生会简单的口语对话,基本会口语描述位置:Where is the…? It’s next to /opposite… .鼓励学生开口“说”。让学生懂得词不离句,句不离情景这一英语学习方法。

3 学生在情境创设中明白旅游时要做到文明游玩。

二教学重难点:

重点:关于公共设施的九个单词(museum, park, church, train station, tourist office, police station, hospital. bus stop, post office)。

难点:museum 中,eum的发音。tourist的发音。

三教学过程

warming up

1.Greeting and free-talk: I am Luna, I like reading and doing sports. Traveling is my favourite! I ‘ve been to many places, town s and cities, like Wuzheng. It’s a town. And Shanghai, New York, they’re cities.

2.What about you? 让学生根据这三个方面介绍自己:Name, hobby,places. Presentation

1.T:Look, It’s Toby.This is Toby’s town.出示课题,Unit 4 In Town。

2.In his town, there’s his favourite place: Tony’s. Listen and tell me : what can he get in Tony’s?S: You can get the best ice-cream in town.

3.Do you like ice-cream? If you find Tony’s, you can get a ice-cream sticker.

4.Let’s go, we are tourist,(分音教读t our ist). You are…(S:tourist),you are … we are…

5.It’s a long way to his town. How can we go to his town?

S: By train/bus.

T:Where can we get on a train/bus?

S: train station/bus stop.()

6.地图呈现:where is the bus stop? It’s opposite the school?(分音教读)

练习:where is the park/supermarket?

7.Pair-work: where is the candy shop?

S: It’s opposite the candy shop. It’s next to school. (分音教读)

8. We’re in town now! What a beautiful town!where is Tony’s? let’s ask for help! Let’s go inside! What office is it?

S:It’s tourist office .(用教师办公室让学生理解office的含义)

创设情境:与工作人员的一问一答:Excuse me, Where is the Tony’s? Sorry, I don’t know. But I can give you a map.

8.T: Let’s see the map? There are five places. Let’s guess, where is Tony’s?

9.根据学生的选择分别呈现:police station, post office, museum, church, hospital.

police station: Where is the police station? what can you see in the police station? post office: Where is the post office? what can you do in the post office? Museum:Watch and tell me : where is it?Where is the museum?What museum do you know?

Church: Where is the church? Watch and tell me : What do you think of the church? Hospital: Where is the hospital? what can you see in the hospital?

10.总结:We can see… in the map!

11.we can’t find the Tony’s, we can’t eat the ice-cream! Do you want to go home or go on? But what can we do?S: call him? Send him a message…
