Module6 Unit1 You can play football well. 一、教材分析:

本课围绕学生喜欢的“体育项目”这一主题,引出相关的动词及动词短语,学习如何表扬、评价、肯定与鼓励他人。主要语言结构为:You can jump really high. You are very good at basketball. You can catch the ball well. Lingling is a fantastic goalkeeper.

二、教学目标:

1、知识目标:通过学习,能够牢固掌握catch the ball, jump high, pass the ball, run fast,fantastic goalkeeper等与运动有关的短语以及句型“I can ... well.”及“You can ... ”、“ Can you run fast?”及回答Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.

2、能力目标:学会使用恰当的句型来评价他人,如:You can jump really high. You can catch the ball well 等。在小组合作学习中,使学生具备正确评价自己和评价他人的能力。

3、情感目标:通过学习,培养学生学会欣赏和鼓励他人的良好品质。

三、重点难点

1、重点:让学生掌握句型,“I can ....”和“Can you ...”以及掌握catch the ball, jump high, pass the ball, run fast,fantastic goalkeeper 等与运动有关的短语.

2、难点:句型Can you run fast? 及回答Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.

四、教具:多媒体、课件、卡片

五、教学过程

Step 1.Warming up:

1、Greetings: Hello, boys and girls.

2. Listen and do:教师说动词短语. 如run fast, play basketball, swim, play football, jump high, skip,学生边听边做相应的动作。

【设计意图】新课伊始,让学生听一听,做一做,既活跃了课堂气氛,复习了旧知识,又使学生迅速进入到英语学习状态中去,为新课学习打下良好的基础。

Step 2.Leading-in:

1. T: What’s your favourite sports star?

S: Yao Ming, Liu Xiang...

2. Show a picture of Liu Xiang .

T: What is he doing?

S: He is running. T: He can run fast.

T: Can you run fast ?

S: Yes, I can.

T: No, I can’t. (板书,操练)

T: He can jump high. Can you jump high?

S: Yes, I can.

T: Ok, do it. Oh, you can jump really high.

(在对话中自然引入重点句型的教学,创造一定的情景让学生多次操练,巩固所学的单词、词组与句型。)

3. Show a picture of Yao Ming.

T: What can he do? S: He can play basketball.

T: He can play basketball well.

方法:Chant:well, well, play football well. You can play football well.

T: He is good at basketball. He is very good at basketball. So, he can catch the ball well. Can you catch the ball well? (do the action with a student ) Fantastic! You can catch the ball well.

Chant: Well ,well catch the ball well. You can catch the ball well.

4. Show a picture of Beckham. )采用类似的方法,教授play football well, pass the ball well 引导学生在活动中用:Can you play football? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t. You can play football well.对他人或自己的行为表现进行评价,从而完成对本课单词 catch、pass、well、及句型 can…well的理解与运用。

【设计意图】语言存在于一定的情景中,通过实物、肢体语言及活动,为学生创设真实的语言学习、运用的情境,使他们在情景活动中通过参与、体验、合作、交流,自然地习得语言 pass,catch, well,You can … well . 提高实际语言运用能力,并真正做到“词不离句,句不离境”的语言教学原则。

Step3. New text learning

1. Listen and point (Circle the sentences with “can”)
