一、教学目标

1、能够听懂并能够表演story time 的故事。

2、能够熟练运用”Who’s that ......? She is my ....... She is beautiful.”等句型。

3、能够初步了解一些职业。如actress, doctor, policewoman, nurse, driver, actor.

4、培养孩子热爱家庭,热爱家人的情感。

“actress”的理解和发音。

PPT,单词卡,照片,自制图画书

四、教学步骤

Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings.

2.Free talk.

Let me talk about my family. I have a happy family. I love my family. 3.Let’s sing the song “I love my family.”

Step 2 Pr-reading

1.New words

I have a good friend. Show PPT. She is beautiful. How beautiful! Teach the new word “beautiful” .

Who’s that woman? She’s Angela Baby. She is an actress. Teach the new word “actress”.

Show PPT. Who’s that man? He’s Lu Han. He is an actor. Explain actress for woman, actor for man.

Introduce more jobs, eg doctor/ policewoman/ nurse/ driver.

2.Practice the new words

Ask students: What’s your mother’s father’s job? She is a ....... Is she beautiful/tall?

3.Angela Baby is an actress, She is my good friend. Do you have a good friend? I think everyone has a good friend. Zoom has a good friend, too. She is Zip.

Step 3 While-reading

Today, Zoom invites Zip to his home. Let’s have a look, and how many people are in Zoom’s family? The answer is 3.

This class, we’ll learn the story. Now, I have 4 questions, let’s watch the story again, please tell me your answers.

1.Who’s that woman? A mother B Grandmother

Check the answer: A Ask students to follow the tape.

2.What’s her job? A She is a teacher. B She is an actress.

3.What’s the meaning of “really”? A 真的B 假的

Play the tape, students look and tick. Check the answers. Ask students to follow the tape.

4.Zoom’s mother is an actress. But Zip can’t believe that. So, what will happen? Let’s have a look. Zoom acts his mum, He is beautiful. Now dad and mum are coming back. How does Zoom feel? A happy B shy Check the answers.

Zoom acts his mum, he is cute. Kids like acting their dad and mum. Let’s have a look. They are cute. That’s OK. Don’t be shy. It’s the precious moment in our life. Follow the tape.

5.Read the whole story after the tape.

6.Students read together.

Step 4 After-reading

1.Role-play. Can you act it out? Work in groups of 4.

2.Retell the story. Ask students to fill the blanks.

3.Pair work

Zoom has a happy family. What about you? Now take out your mother’s photos. Let’s talk about your mother. The teacher gives a sample.

4.We all have a happy family. Show a picture book. The book’s name is “I love my family.”

1.Read the story for your parents.

五、教学反思

本课课型是故事教学,通过Zip到Zoom家做客的故事,重现了本单元部分重点词汇和核心句型,并加入了两个生词,“actress”“beautiful”。目的是通过一个有趣又有意义的故事,来增加学生语言的输入,并且使学生逐步适应文本阅读。
