Step 1 Warm-up

T: Hello, boys and girls. Are you happy?

T: Why are you happy?

T: I’m happy too, because summer holiday will come. Look! I have some friends. They are happy about the summer holiday, too. What will they do for the holiday? Look and say! (PPT呈现)

Step 2 Pre-reading tasks

T: I will do a lot of things for the summer holiday too. Do you want to know about my summer holiday?

T: I will show you some pictures about my summer holiday. Look and say a sentence about my holiday.

T: Great! You said a lot about my holiday. This is my summer holiday plan.

Step 3 While-reading tasks

【设计意图:让学生就他们想要了解的问题进行提问,锻炼提问能力,同时让学生通过提问感知一份计划需要写出哪些内容。】

2. Watch and match

T: I’m glad you can ask good questions. First, where will they go for the holiday? Watch the cartoon and match the students with the pictures.

3. Read and choose

T: Now we know where they will go. Now I have more questions for you. Read Part 1 and choose the right answers to the questions.

4. Guessing game

T: Now let’s play a guessing game. Look at the tips and guess what place it is. (PPT呈现提示让学生猜)

5. Read and find

T: Su Hai and Liu Tao have a lot of photos about their holiday. Read Part 2 and look at the photos. Can you put the students in the right photos?

说课

本单元谈论的话题是暑假出游计划,学生在前面的学习中已经有了很多的语言储备,所以导入时利用PPT呈现许多动词短语,既唤醒了学生的旧知,又为学生谈论自己暑期活动而做好铺垫。本单元的语法是will的一般将来时的特殊疑问句和一般疑问句,学生在前一个单元学习了will的陈述句,所以在导入环节通过关键词,激发学生说关于will的陈述句,既唤醒了旧知又为下面环节做好准备。

本课时主要是引导学生正确理解故事内容,能有感情地朗读故事,并能尝试根据关键词复述故事,最后能用will来谈论自己的暑期出游计划。在教学过程中,教师关注了学生的自主阅读能力,培养了学生听说读写的技能,提升了学生的英语思维能力,同时巧设问题,激活学生思维。
