Unit 4 What’s the weather like? Lesson 13 一、教学内容分析

这是六年级下册第四单元第一课时的内容。以谈论旅游目的地天气和出游计划为话题的对话内容。以Mike的同学Jim从加拿大给Mike打电话商量要来北京,并且询问北京的天气情况,还打算去中国其他地区旅游为故事情节。

二、教学目标

1.通过在听、读的过程中找寻信息、完成任务的活动,理解对话内容,并能朗读对话,尝试表演或转述对话。

2.通过读、说等活动,能够联系实际在真实的的情景中运用“What’s the weather like there?”围绕出行目的地的天气进行询问和回答.复习打电话用语。

3.能够在情景中正确运用“I’m going to visit…/stay…””We’ll…等语句,谈论即将出行的计划,复习一般将来时。

4.通过在谈论出行目的地天气能在积极的情感体验中,感受自然天气给人们外出旅游和日常生活带来的客观影响。通过带领Jim在国内旅行,感受国家大好河山,培养国家自豪感。

三、教学重点、难点

1.重点:打电话用语和对出行目的地天气的询问和回答

2.难点:天气的表达方式:It doesn’t rain much….”

“We’ll get a lot of rain…”

时间的表达方式early next month

一、

谈话引入1.T: What’s the date today?

Which season is it now?

What’s the weather like today?

2.Do you remember the day of March 17th

?出示课件,平谷雪景图,问:What’s the weather like ? It’s didn’t snow all the winter. This is the first snow of this year in Pinggu . How do you feel?(cold\ surprised\excited) 3.课件打出其它日期的天气情况:talk about the weather of Pinggu The weather changes a lot in spring.

Do you remember those days ? what’s the weather like? And how do you feel? What did you wear? Please talk about it with your group. 4.汇报:(每人一句)

教师追问:That day is Sunday, What did you do? What’s the weather like in this spring? what do you think?

教师总结T: the weather is changeable. It’s sometimes hot sometimes cold. Someone wears a coat, someone wears a T-shirt. We should be careful not to catch a cold. 5. What do you often do in snowy days? 找一个学生回答。

(一).引入:What is spring like? Spring is beautiful and The May Day holiday is coming .What do you want to do?travel 师追问: with whom? Parents or friends If you will go with your friends, how do you invite him ? You can tell him face to face at school. You can use we chat. You can call him. (二)第一段对话(打电话部分)

1.布置任务T:our friends are talking on the phone.同时出示主题图

What are they talking about? Listen and then answer my question: What do you know by the dialogue? 2.听:不出示文字两遍,然后给出文本自己读

4.汇报:(尽量让学生自己总结师可以给与适当的手势指到相应的位置提示)

(1)How many people? (2)打电话用语:this is\it’s

They are talking on the phone, use “this is Mike speaking, not I am Mike speaking.”…

(3)Jim is from Canada ,he is going to visit Beijing . (5)跟读模仿—三个人一组读

(三)第二段对话:

1.引出travel plan S:Jim is going to visit Beijing -----T: Jim will travel to Beijing. 板书

Jim is in Beijing now? He is going to visit Beijing, so this is Jim ‘s travel plan 2.学生自己听读对话,获取信息,完成任务

What do you know about the travel plan? Let’s listen next dialogue.(2times)----看一遍——read it by yourself----talk about with your group 3.学生提取信息,汇报,在教师的帮助下提炼总结

(1)weather A:提问帮助理解It doesn’t rain much, but we’ll get a lot of rain in July and August. Which season is it? Does it often rain? 出示图片,only twice ,so It doesn’t rain much. When will we get a lot of rain ? B:找2个同学读一读

C:根据Mike天气的描述,Jim该注意什么?The weather is very important for travel. in this weather,What does Jim need to take ? (he needs an umbrella or raincoat, and more clothes)

(2)time: early next month\stay 6 weeks\most of summer

(3) place: Beijing \different – (for example)

4.师生一起利用板书思维导图转述故事

Mike’s friend Jim is calling from Canada. He is going to visit Beijing and different places in China. They are talking about the weather. It’s sunny, and windy sometimes. in spring ,It doesn’t rain much ,In summer we’ll get a lot of rain. He is coming early next month. They can go swimming and hiking together.

(1)出示地点及图片,学生观察,小组说说图片所指示的天气

(2)小组仿照例句试说说

2.制定旅行计划

Choose a great city to travel with Jim, talk about the plan with your partner , and write down.(讨论制定旅行计划,要说出出行计划的地点、天气、时间及在那里的活动并写下来)
