三、教学目标

本套教材是从三年级起点学的，四年级的学生有一年多的英语基础，学习兴趣较浓，学习积极性较高，模仿能力强。

本节课是《英语

English》四年级上册第八单元第一课时的内容。在本册书前面有两个单元（School Activities; Working or Playing?）已经涉及到了进行时的教学，本单元是巩固现在进行时的教学。主要学习六个词组和一般疑问句句式。

一、知识与技能：

1、能听懂、会说：sweep the floor; clean the windows; clean the desk; wash the dishes; wash the clothes; fold the clothes 六个短语。

2. 能用Is he/she …? Are they …?进行交流。

二、过程与方法：Pair work, group work, games, TPR 三、情感态度与价值观：把语言融于情景中，让学生通过体验、参与各种活动培养对语言学习的兴趣，养成积极参与家务劳动的好习惯。

四、教学过程

Step 1: Greetings and warm-up. E.g. What day is it today? What do you do on Monday? Are you playing basketball? What are you doing? ... Step 2: Presentation I T: What can you do at home? Can you sweep the floor? (Show the flash card. Let the student answer the whole sentence. E.g. Yes, I can. I can sweep the floor. / No, I can’t. I can’t sweep the floor.) (With action)T: Look, I am sweeping the floor. Follow me please. And then ask, Are you sweeping the floor? (Yes, I am. / Yes, we are.) (Point to the flash card.)T: Is he sweeping the floor? Ss: Yes, he is. (Write down the phrases and sentence patterns on the blackboard.) Use “Is he/she …?” to ask and answer with the flash cards. Then teach other new phrases. (clean the windows / clean the desk / wash the dishes / wash the clothes / fold the clothes) Step 3: Practice 1, Read and act 2, Teacher reads, Ss act.

本节课先是通过一些简单的日常提问，对学生进行知识唤醒。特别是现在进行时的运用。本课时的主要任务是使学生掌握六个新词组和句型：Is he/she …?

Are they …? 因为学生在前面的单元学习过Is he …? Are you …? 所以句子的学习并不难，我把大部分的时间放在了词组的学习和巩固上。每个新词组我都是通过看图或动作，结合句型进行呈现的，学生很好理解。每学完两个词组我都会用各种形式进行巩固。如：看卡片读、边读边做动作、判断动作与读音是否一致再跟读等等。所有词组学完后，我又进行猜一猜游戏（结合句型）、同桌看图问答、看图写答句、看图填空等练习进行巩固。整节课下来，同学对词组和句子的掌握还是不错的。个人觉得欠缺的地方是课堂活动的类型有些单调，在发展学生能力方面也没有很好的体现。
