一、教材分析：

本课时是冀教版五年级英语下册第二单元的第一课，课文内容是延续上一单元李明、Jenny、Danny和李夫人一行四人去北京旅行，现在到达北京火车站，在车站谈论的一些话题。教学内容贴近学生生活，有利于培养他们在真实情境中用英语进行交际的能力。本课涉及到了一些复杂的可数名词单数变复数的词汇及句型，在教学中应该注意帮助学生进行归类总结。在口语交际时，也要注意句型中单复数的正确运用。

二、学生分析：

本班学生性格活泼，对英语兴趣浓厚。对于名词单复数，学生对可数名词变复数（+s）的形式很熟悉，对其他变复数的形式知道一些。本课中出现的特殊变化形式（men\women\children），学生是初次接触。学生对单复数句型变化有所了解，但应用中还不熟悉，经常会出现错误。在教学中应该注重口语练习，以巩固所学知识。

三、教学目标：

1、知识与技能目标：

（1）学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写单词men，women，child，people，many （2）学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构：There are many_____. A____is__________.

Some\Many_____are_________. （3）学生能够理解并掌握下列单词的单复数形式：child\children，man\men，woman\women

2、过程与方法目标：

（1）学生通过小组合作学习，能够运用所学英语知识来表达看到的事情，更轻松地进行语言操练，并体验小组合作的收获与愉悦。

（2）学生通过多媒体课件展示，整体感知学习内容，接受语言信息，体验感受旅行的快乐，激发生活情趣。

3、情感态度与价值观：

（1）培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感。

（2）增强学生之间的合作意识。

四、教学重难点：
