Lesson 2：What are you doing? 一、教材分析：

本课的教学内容是Jenny, Li Ming, Danny 坐在北京的火车上，在Lesson 1 的基础上，故事继续。上午，Jenny在安静地画画，Li Ming在安静地读书，而Danny 确在大声唱歌，出现两个重点单词：quite 和loud，同时还有几个重点词组：draw a picture, read a book和sing a song, 再有就是重要句型：What are you doing?/What is Danny doing? 下午，Jenny 看到车外的山羊，并指给Li Ming看，而这时的Danny正在睡觉，鼾声很大。这部分，出现重点单词：sleep，同时又把在第一部分学到的quite和loud进行复习。

二、学情分析：

本课的授课对象活泼好动，对英语学习兴趣浓厚，积极参与课堂活动，喜欢有趣的英语小游戏。

三、教学目标：

1. 要求学生掌握四会单词：行为动词draw sleep 和形容词quiet loud 2. 理解并能够运用短语： drawing a picture looking out the window

singing a song sleeping reading a book 3. 句型what are you doing ? I am ___ing. What is he (she) doing? He (She) is ____ing . 四、教学重难点：

难点：本课的难点在于对课文的理解和句型的灵活运用。
