1.Students will be aurally understand orally use,recognise and spell the following vocabulary:am,when,birthday. （会听说读写认这3个单词：am,when,birthday）. 2.Students will be able to recognize,understand and use thesebasic

sentences constructions:

How old are you? I am _________ years old. When is your birthday ? and my birthday is _________.（能让学生听懂、会说、运用这几个句子表达年龄和生日的问法及答语）。

2. Aims on the processes and methods（过程与方法目标）:Help the students Form the habit of seeking the keywords while reading(帮助学生养成边读边找关键词的习惯）. 3. Aims on the emotion education(情感态度与价值观目标）.let the students value time and treasure life.（让

学生懂得珍惜时间，珍爱生命。

Key points（教学重点）:Enable the students to use the sentences to express ages and birthdays.（能让学生听懂、会说、运用这几个句子表达年龄和生日的问法及答语）。

二、Difficult

points（教学难点）: Enable the students to use the sentences to express the dates运用这几个句子表达生日的问法及答语）。

三、Teaching process（教学过程）: Step1 warming up and Review（热身和复习）

1.Sing “the Month Song”（唱月份歌）

2.Say the 12 months to review （数这12个月）

3.Count the students in the classroom to review the cardinal numbers and the ordinal numbers. （用基础词数教室里有多少个学生，用序数词给他们排号）。

Step 2Presitation For dates（关于日期的展示）

1.

Tell the students,in English ,we use ordinal numbers to say the dates.（告诉学生用英语表达日期时用序数词）。

2.

Pratice the dates using the calendar.(Let the students know there are at most 31days in a month.)

Step 3 Presitation For the ages and birthdays.关于年龄和生日的展示

1.the teacher says a friend comes to visit us today,show the picture of Chinaman Xi.Ask students if they want to know How old he is .We can use “How old are you?”

to express,and write the sentences on the blackboard.CAI shows his introduction.The teacher says he should say I am _________ years old.The same way to teach When is your birthday ?and my birthday is _________.Teach the pronounciation of birthday.（展示***照片让学生提问年龄与生日，领读,指导birthday的读音）。

2.CAI shows my own picture ,let the students practice the above sentences（展示教师自己的照片，让学生练习以上句子）. 3.In pairs ask and answer with the above sentences（同桌互相问答以上句子）. Step4 Practice练习

Read the text ,and find the answers for Danny’s and Steven’s ages and birthdays.（让学生自读课文找出Danny和Steven的年龄及生日。

Listen and repeat after the video for Part 1跟读第一部分）

CAI shows the text of this lesson,read it in roles,then recite it（分角色朗读课文，试着背课文对话）. 4.

Chain drill :ask and answer with When is your birthday ?and and my birthday is _________.（拉火车练这两个句子）

Ask and answer your friend’s ages and birthdays ,then show it to us .（小组问答朋友年龄和生日再展示）。

Voluteers Recruit .Ask the students to write their own names ,age and birday on a sticker,then stick it on the picture on the blackboard .（以招募志愿者方式让学生写自己的年龄及生日，贴在黑板的志愿者之家上）。
