一、教学内容和学情分析

Story time中的素材都与小学生的生活息息相关，符合学生的认知能力，

是对一个单元中语言知识的综合运用与拓展。每个故事教学都能充分调动学生的积极性，有效地排除怕说英语的障碍，提高语言综合运用能力，从而提高学习效果。

本课是PEP英语五年级上册 Unit 4 What can you do ? Part C Story time 部分。本单元主要学习句型Can you...? Yes, I can. No, I can’t. What can you do? I can ... 以及多个动词及动词词组。这一故事教学的目的是让学生在阅读中进一步复习和巩固本单元的知识。通过对单元知识的巩固，读懂故事，理解并能表演故事，且得以有效拓展。

（二）Presentation 1．Learn the story. 1) Try to imagine A. What ’s this? (It’s a rat.) Imagine: What can he do? B: What ’s this? (It’s a snake.) Imagine: What can he do? Circle the right answer. 2) Look, listen and answer Is the snake happy? Why? Follow and do actions. Teach: hungry eat 3)
