Then play the dialogue of lesson 8 and ask the Ss to listen to the dialogue, then answer the questions on PPT,

the purpose is to make the students be able to answer the question “How many…are there in/on…?” with the sentence “There are…”; ③

Listen to the dialogue again, and this time, the Ss should read after it sentence by sentence. The purpose is to make the Ss imitate the

pronunciation and intonation; ④

Free reading. All the class read the dialogue one by one, sentence by sentence. The purpose is to make the Ss be more impressive to the dialogue. Step 3 Practice
