Watch about signs to elicit the topic“signs”

Step2：Presentation Learn the key structure “What does this sign mean? It means you can’t…”and learn the new words: litter, smoke, smell. 1. Let’s talk(Learn the key structure“What does this sign mean? It means you can’t…”) T: What signs do you know? You can say it in Chinese, but try to say it in English. T: Great, you know the signs very well. Look at this picture. Can we eat here? Can we drink here? Of course we can’t. So what does this sign mean? S: We can’t eat or drink. T: It means we can’t eat or drink.

2.同法教“It means we can’t fish”

3.用图片 run、swim、fish 操练句型，引出生词litter、smoke。

T： What does this sign mean? It means you can’t litter. Read after me please. How to read this word“letter”. T： What does this sign mean? It means you can’t smoke. Read after me please. Why can’t we smoke in the public places? Because it’s bad for the health and it smells bad.(新授单词词smell) Learn the text 1.

S: No. T: They’re at the shopping centre.(新授单词shopping centre) In the shopping centre, we can do many things such as clothes, shoes, toys, maybe the first floor is for women, the second floor is for young lady, the third floor is for men , the fourth floor maybe for children and so on . Shopping centre is very big, there are a lot of people in it, and a lot of shops such as juice shop, book shop and restaurant.(新授单词restaurant) 2.

Watch and answer Questions: 1) T： Where did they go ？ 按顺序板书出示Mike, Helen ,Tim所去的三个地方。

2) T： What sign did they see? 用图片展示出文中的四个公共标志。（链接出示 the floor is wet）

Learn from the pictures(利用板书进行梳理，并将标志和地点匹配，然后给出适当的建议) Wet floor--- Be careful. No littering---Don’t litter No eating or drinking--- Don’t take your juice into the shop(新授take…into…)
