四年级英语下Unit 3 What subject do you like best? Lesson 18 教学目标:

1.能听、说、认读本单元关于学科的单词和句子。

2.能在真实的语境中听懂并使用本单元关于学科的句子。

3.能读懂、理解小故事的意思,明白不能在公共场合乱涂乱画,做一个遵守规则的好孩子。

学情分析:

小学四年级的学生掌握了一些较为简单的词汇,有了一些英语语言基础,本课为本单元的复习课,基于掌握本单元已会词句的基础上展开的故事教学。教师通过不同的教学手段激发学生的学习热情,培养学生英语学习的核心素养。

重点难点:

1.对于本单元所学单词、句型的进一步巩固和运用,并在真实的情境中进行真实的交际。

2.对于句子You naughty monkey.的理解。帮助学生进一步理解小猴子顽皮的原因和顽皮后造成的影响及改进方法。

Step 1 Revision 1.Let’s play a guessing game.

In this unit, we have learnt many subjects. Today we’re going on talking about our subjects. First, let’s play a guessing game: What subject is it?

eg. When you have this class, you always on the ground. You can run and play football in this class. What subject is it? 【设计意图:结合多媒体教学复习本单元所学学科单词,通过猜谜游戏的形式,充分调动学生的好奇心和积极性,巩固复习本单元重点单词。】

Let’s chant:

Maths and art, Music and all the rest. What subject do you like best?

Chinese and English,

PE and all the rest. I like PE best. 【设计意图:用歌谣的方式复习、巩固学科单词并激发学生在节奏中的学习兴趣。】

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Show a timetable about their owns. (1)T:What day is today? Ss:Today is Wednesday.

T: How many lessons do you have today? Ss: We have six. T: How many lessons do you have in the morning? Ss:We have… .

T:What are they? Ss:They are… .

T: How many lessons do you have in the afternoon? Ss:We have… .

T:What are they? Ss:They are… .

T:What subjects do you like? Ss:I like… and ... . T:What subject do you like best? Ss:I like… best . T:What do you do in a/an ... class?

Ss:We... . (2)Look at the timetable and talk about your subjects today. 【设计意图:创设真实的学习生活情景,引导学生在情景中复习、巩固所学句型,培养学生英语语言表达能力,以及用英语做事情的能力。】

Show a picture of animal school. (1)T:We have six lessons today. What about animals? How many lessons do they have today? What are they? Let’s watch and answer.

Ss:They have four lessons today. They are... . (2)Show a picture of Micky. What subject does Micky like? Let’s listen ,tick or cross.

T:What subject does like?Does he like maths? Does he like English? Does he like music? Does he like art?(Micky likes art.) Do you like art? Where do you draw pictures? (on the paper) Look at Micky. Where does he draw? (on the wall) He draws pictures on the wall. He is very naughty. If you are Mr Elephant ,what do you say to Micky? (You naughty monkey!) The students imitate Mr Elephant to say: You naughty monkey! Lead in the students to say: Don’t draw on the wall.

Show two pictures :A naughty girl! A naughty boy! And tell them: Don’t eat in class. Listen to the teacher carefully. You should obey the rules! (4)Talk about the subjects about animals. T:We shouldn’t learn from Micky. We must obey the school rules. Don’t eat in class. Listen to the teacher carefully. We must study hard. (5)Look at the picture and talk about the subjects of animal school’s.

【设计意图:由学生的学习生活实际自然过渡到动物的学习生活,采用看、听等形式进一步运用语言,并在运用语言的同时进行德育渗透,不要在公共场所乱涂乱画,引导学生遵守规则。】

Watch, listen and read. 【设计意图:培养学生正确的语音、语调,形成良好的语感。】

Act out the dialogue in groups. 【设计意图:培养学生互助学习的能力。】

3.Listen and number, then check the answers. 4.Do Ex. 【设计意图:通过练习对学生的学习情况进行检测,便于教师及时了解学生的学习情况,进一步改进教学。】
