请学生谈谈某些濒临灭绝的动物的情况。

顺着上面最后一个学生的话，引出本课时的话题和学内谷。

T: The animals you mentioned are in danger now. Are animals our friends? S1: Yes, they are. T: Do you want to protect these animals? S2: Yes, we do. T: How can we protect these animals? What can we do? Now discuss with your classmates. 学生自由讨论在保护动物方面能做些什么。然后进行全班交流。

S1: We mustn’t feed the animals in the zoo.

S2: People shouldn’t catch the blue whales.

根据故事情节提问，请学生根据划出的内容回答，教师在黑板上写下关键词。

1.请学生和同桌一起看挂图，根据黑板上的关键词复述故事。

2.让学生分组思考故事的意义，分享类似的反映人与动物之间友好相处的故事。
