All the students can apply “We lived in a small house . There weren’t many buses . We live in a big house . There are lots of buses and cars . She didn’t have a television . ”

Greet with students T: Did you have a good time on Children’s Day ? Ss : Yes . T : So what did you do on Children’s Day? Ss1 : We sang a song . Ss2: We danced . Ss3 : We ate candies . …………

T : Wow , you really had a good time on Children’s Day. Guys , one year past , it means we have grown up little by little . Three years ago , I was a student .But now I am a teacher .（教师展示学生时代的照片和现在的照片）As time goes by , life is changing . Today , we will learn about the life of China in the past and the life of China at present . Let’s see the changes . 2.

Presentation : 1). Show the topic -----“

We lived in a small house ”（教师教读，全班读，分小组读，个人读）

2). Tell students the learning tasks of this Unit -------- to grasp the new words , key sentences and past tense . 3). Review the new words : programme ,lady , life , different , ago , interviewer , enough , television , grandchildren ,change . （复习单词，全班齐读，分小组读，个人读）

T : Our friend Lingling is still in the UK with Sam and Amy . Let’s have a look , what are they doing ? 4). Listen to the tape and answer two questions : Question1:What are Lingling and Amy doing ? Answer ：They are watching TV . Question2:What’s the programme about ? Answer : It’s about life in China .

5). Circle the words which use the past tense .（教师教读，然后全班读、分小组读、个人读）

6). Play the tape again and then discuss the two questions in group . Question1 : How was it different ? Answer : We lived in a small house . We didn’t have enough food . There weren’t many buses . There weren’t any televisions .

Question2 :How about now? Answer : We live in a big house . We have got lots of food . There are lots of buses and cars . I watch TV every day .

Interviewer : How was it different ? Old lady : We lived in a small house . We didn’t have enough food . There weren’t many buses . There weren’t any televisions . Interviewer : How about now? Old lady : We live in a big house . We have got lots of food .

There are lots of buses and cars . I watch TV every day . 4.

Product （展示过去和现在两幅不同的图片，然后用本课的重点句型造句.先在小组内操练，然后全班汇报）

T：We have learnt the changes of life in China . How about the changes of our own life . Now find out the difference between the two pictures ,and use the sentence pattern to make sentence . Eg:“There was a small house four years ago , now there is a big house .”

（通过让学生感受过去和现在生活的对比，引导他们要珍惜今天美好的生活，学会感恩，努力学习，将来也为祖国贡献绵薄之力）
