【教材分析】本单元课文情景是Amy和Sam与朋友小林聊天。以有关班级里有许多孩子吗为话题，小林询问Amy在中国和英国班级里的孩子是不是有很多学生？以及数量有何不同。在M6U2学生第一次接触There be句型的陈述句形式。本节课在运用There be陈述句的基础上，学习运用Be there一般疑问句形式，让学生能运用所学语言调查分析本班同学学习用品和物品的数量。从而进一步注意中外文化的差异。

【学情分析】三年级的学生已经有了三年的学习英语的基础。本节课重点帮助学生在M6U2已有的语言知识结构基础上，将旧知与新知进行转变，通过对情境结构内容的分析，注意并了解中外文化差异。再通过图片，角色扮演等途径激发学生学习兴趣和积极性，从而提高和深化学生的综合语言运用能力。
