Starter Unit 2 (3a—3e)教学设计

Step 1：Lead—in

Review words with pictures on the screen. Such as: a map，an orange，a ruler，a pen，a key, a jacket, a cup, a quilt．Use these to ask students：What’s this in English? Get them to answer the question one by one．

Step 2：Listening and Practice 1. T: Now let’s listen to the recording, number the picture [1—8]

（播放3a部分的录音让学生听，引导学生根据所听到的内容，为图片编号。）

2. Check the answers:

3. Work on 3b;

T: Now, look at the pictures, listen to the recording and complete the words under the pictures in 3a (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully.) Then, listen to the recording again, and spell the words you hear.

Check the answers with the class.

4. Work on 3c;

Listen to the recording , then repeat when the second time.

5.Work on 3d

Listening to the conversations and number the words you hear [1--4],then check the answers. 6.Pairwork The teacher lets students guess some objects on the screen such as

a ruler，a pen，a key，an orange and so on．First hide all of them，

Then get students to guess what’s it．The teacher can ask the student：

T：What’s this in English?

A：Is it a book?

T：N0，it isn’t．

A：Is it a pen?

T：Yes，it is．

If the student succeed．congratulate to him or her．Then do the same to another one.

Step 3: Homework 1.

What can you see in your room? Write down the words. 2. Preview 4a-4d on PS8.
