TEACHING DESIGN Title: How to use the “茉莉花”style Lesson Type: Writing Analysis of the Teaching Material: This lesson mainly focus on practical writing.How to use the “茉莉花”style to make a paragraph. Analysis of the Students: Students’writing skill should be improved. They should master some words, phrases and sentences to write an article. In my class, some students know some words and phrases,but they can’t express properly.Some students can’t understand the difference between Chinese and English,they always think in Chinese and write some Chinese-English sentence. A few students, who are not good at English, can’t make sentences by themselves, so they hand in the blank paper. They lost heart.To help my students to gain their confidence and fall in love with English, I create this style.Hopefully, my students can improve their wring ability. Teaching Objects: 1.To master the relevant phrases and sentence structures. 2.To be able to write a paragraph. 3.To develop students’ writing skills,such as expressing key points exactly. 4.Understand the difference between Chinese and western tradition,and arouse the love of Chinese culture.

It’s obvious/clear that No one can deny It is/was ...that/who... Reflection: The whole teaching process went smoothly, and students learned with high motivation and improved a lot. With the help of the “茉莉花”style，students are better at writing and more confident. However, there are still some shortages, for example, some students can’t write a whole paragraph immediately, who are not good at English. I will always encourage them and help them to write some simple sentences. I have the confidence that they will make progress sooner or later.
