Unit7 Working or Playing?教学设计

一、单元知识简介

本单元是一个新授单元，主要学习现在进行时，以及拓展开的第三人称。

二、学情分析

学生在之前Book3Unit9学过现在进行时及其用法，对于他们来说是个旧知识。

三、教学目标

1．语言知识目标

学习四会单词: exercising,working,shouting,thinking,practicing,talking,cutting,coloring 四会句子: Are you sleeping? No, I’m not. I’m thinking. Is he practicing volleyball? No, he’s not. He’s practicing basketball.

2．语言技能目标

通过说唱歌谣，做游戏，做调查报告，表演，比赛等多个环节，使学生在观察、判断、合作、自学、表演、竞争、创造、评价等多方面的能力得到发展和提高。

3．情感态度目标

培养学生浓厚的英语学习兴趣，挖掘学生的表演才能和实际应用语言的能力，给学生一个自我展示的舞台。

4．文化意识目标

通过本课学习拓展，让学生体会劳动带给他们的快乐。

四、教学重点与难点

1．教学重点

本节课重点学习四会单词、学习二组新的对话Are you sleeping? No, I’m not. I’m thinking. Is he practicing volleyball? No, he’s not. He’s practicing basketball.，由于《开心学英语》的每一个对话都是一个小故事，所以通过对句型的学习，理解对话的意义，并能表演出来是本课的重点。

2．教学难点

通过对话的学习，能让学生学会灵活运用新知识，自己创设新的情景对话，又是本课的难点。另外，动词的现在分词形式以及句型的拓展是本课的难点。

五、教法学法

充分利用学习动词的特点，最大限度的调动学生学习的积极性。复习、引入、新授、扩展，层层递进，尽可能创造相宜的语言情境，鼓励学生的大胆创新，加强合作学习、合作表演，使学生在轻松愉悦的环境中学习、思维、应用。

金太阳课件、图片、实物等。

七、课时划分

第一课时: Vocabulary, Target and Song . 第二课时: Conversation, Practice 1 and Practice 2.

第三课时: Activity1.2 and Sounds and words.

第一课时

一、课时目标

通过学习，让学生熟练掌握6个单词并能用它们学习2个新句型：exercising, working, shouting, thinking, practicing, talking；Are you sleeping? No, I’m not. I’m thinking. Is he practicing volleyball? No, he’s not. He’s practicing basketball.

二、课时重、难点

本节课重点学习8个四会单词和二个新句型；难点是动词的现在分词形式。

三、课前准备

金太阳课件、图片、实物等。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up and getting ready T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss Lin.. T: How are you today? Ss: Fine, thanks. And you? T: I’m fine, too. Thanks. Do you like songs? Ss: Yes, we do.

T: OK. Let’s sing a song. What are they doing? （示范开头，拍着手齐唱1次）

Step 2 Revision

T: You sing very well. I like it. Just now we are singing.(老师边示范做动作)Yes? Ss: Yes. T: What am I doing? (老师示范吃东西的动作) S1:eat. T: No, I’m eating.(示范动作) T: Are you eating? S2: Yes, I am.

Step 3 Presentation（设计羊村发生的一系列的故事）

1. Teach the new words: exercising, working, shouting. T: Boys and girls. Do you like exercising?

Ss: Yes, I do. T: Me, too. Look! She’s exercising.（出示照片）What is she doing? She is exercising.(教读Exercising.) Ss: Exercising. T: What are you doing now? Are you exercising? S3: No, I’m not. T: What are you doing? Ss:? T: You are working. Working.（板书—个人读

—小组读）

2. Teach the new words: thinking, practicing. T: Let’s play a guessing game: What am I doing? （出示刚才的图片）

S4: Working? T: No, I’m not. S5: Shouting?（让学生猜1-2次）

T: Let me tell you. Thinking.（教读Thinking，板书）

T: Look at me. What am I doing? Ss:? T: I’m practicing. （教读practicing，板书）

3. Teach the new words: talking and the sentences: Are you sleeping? No,

I’m not. I’m thinking. Is he practicing volleyball? No, he’s not. He’s practicing basketball. T: Look at the TV.（出示电脑图片）What is he doing?（放一张）Is he practicing? Ss: No, he’s not. T: （有意识地换新单词图片）He is not practicing. He is talking. Ss: He is talking.

T: Yes. Talking. （带读单词）

Ss: Talking. T: Are you talking?（问几个学生）

S6: No, I’m not. I’m studying.（老师板书句子）

4. Game（单词游戏）

T: It’s time to play a game. There are some pictures in my hand. Can you guess which card missing is?

5. Listen and repeat.（播放金太阳软件，让学生跟读单词和句子）

Step 4 Drill and practice Group work T: This time let’s practice in groups of four. Look at the pictures on your books or using your objects to talk about them like Review. (4人小组活动) Then I’ll choose some groups to act out your dialogues.

Song activity T: You all did a good job. Do you want to sing a song now? Ss: Sure.

T: OK. Let’s watch and listen, then sing together.（播放金太阳课件）
