教学过程：

一．Warm-up 1.Greetings T:Good morning，boys and girls. I am very happy to see you again. How are you today? My friends? S:I am fine,thank you. T:My lovely friends,I will introduce a new friend to you.Do you want to know? S:Yes! 2.Lead in 出示视频，回答老师的问题Question1，What do you find out in this story?

学生回答问题

T:Let’s introduce a new friend.Let’s guess who is it? S:动物，怪兽

二．Presentation 写出今天的主题Maddy the Monster 1.提出问题Who is it?指着挂图How tall? How old? How does she go to school? What does she like? 2.Watch the flash 两人一组讨论回答问题。选一个代表回答，答对将会获得Monster纸片贴。

把答案公布黑板上，学生学习句型。

依此形式进行，给予口头夸奖。

3.齐读故事，呈现文本。

呈现图片，通过齐读，带读简单介绍自己的名字。T：How old are you? I am...years old. 着重复习年龄，个人读，师生问答，生问生答。T: I am 1.4 metres tall. 重点讲play basketball传球说单词。I like to play basketball. 4.呈现文本，听录音。

学生自由读全篇文章。

表格问题呈现本课重点内容。

三．Consolidation and extension.

T:You can choose a part of the story and Role play. S:Do the group work. Give you four minutes. T:It’s you show time. T:Everyone is good. Let’s act the story. S:Look the pictures, Act the story with your partner. 四．Sum-up Today we learn how to introduce ourselves. But we also understand friendship is important to us. 教学反思：

本堂课的课题《Maddy the Monster》是故事教学，主要句型为本单元所学句型。How old are you? How tall are you? Where do you live？重点是对故事的阅读与理解，难点是根据所学故事能就自己的情况进行描述。为了让学生掌握重点解决难点，在教学过程中，我运用了思维导图，设置问题，帮助学生掌握故事。有目的，有计划地对学生进行语言信息的输入，最后通过填表格对所学故事进行了输出。

课上我运用了一些阅读方法来帮助学生理解故事，学生基本上听懂并读懂了这个故事。这一教学目标基本达到了。能朗读并表演故事，我觉得这一目标达成的不是很好，下节课我准备调整为：同桌两人表演双簧。关于学习策略目标：学生能在老师的帮助下，能初步尝试着用寻读和朗读的学习策略，并能积极运用所学知识进行练习和实践。整节课贯穿了男女生分组比赛，学生们都能积极合作参与各项活动。
