Lesson 15 Where is Tom? 第一课时

一、Teaching material analysis 本课话题围绕的是学生最熟悉的房间、功能室等方位地点,让学生再次复习句型“Where is…”,同时学习房间单词和询问位置的另一种表达方法“Where are…?”及答语“They are…”,以及一般疑问句“Are they…?”及其简略回答“Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t.”。
我计划用三个课时上完本课,这节课为第一课时,教学内容集中在板块一:Look,listen and say。这一板块,通过女孩和男孩的对话复习句型“where is…”,并呈现新句型“Where are…?”及其回答“They are…”,学习单词kid, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, classroom, reading room。
二、Analysis of the situation of learning 本班学生平时喜欢看电影、动画片、听音乐等,我在平时上课也经常播放动画片,和唱英语儿歌。我们班学生最喜欢的英语动画片有三部:字母积木、小猪佩奇、卡由。根据学生的兴趣,以生为本,这节课就截取了卡由寻找猫咪的片段,边看边学习新单词。此外,我班学生其实平时学习挺不错,从三年级下册开始就已经慢慢教他们看图写话,做短文
填空题。因此,在本课中,我设计了根据故事情节填空补全短文的环节。此外,学生在lesson5就已经学过了现在进行时,因此,在pair work环节就多了What…doing?的句型。
三、Teaching design idea 1.义务教育英语课程标准提出教师要合理开发和积极利用课程资源,有效实施英语课程的建议。本课在设计时,就创编了新文本来学习学习新单词kid, classroom, reading room,living room,kitchen, bathroom, bedroom。其中,kid, classroom, reading room在日常教学中早就不断渗透,基本上属于旧知。
2.单词是个枯燥的个体,如果孤立地去教学生怎样读、怎样写或怎样运用,那么学生所能掌握到的只是个单词而已。怎样使课文中每个单词具有长久的、鲜活的生命力?让学生融进熟悉的生活活动中去,并在活动过程中体验不同的角色,体会不同的感受,就能唤起学生积极主动学习的愿望和兴趣,从而达到掌握知识要点的目的。
四、Teaching aims 1. Aims of knowledge (1)能听说认读单词kid, classroom, reading room,living room,kitchen, bathroom, bedroom。
(2)能对询问位置的特殊疑问句“Where is…?”进行完整回答“It is…”“,Where are…?”进行完整回答“They are…”。
2. Aims of ability 能在图片、实物的帮助下或在真实情境中,运用句型“Where is…?”进行完整回答“It is…”,“Where are…?”进行完整回答“They are…”。
3.Aims of emotion (1)了解房间的英文名称,初步认知房间英文单词的组成形式。
(2)乐于与同伴合作,积极参加小组语言学习活动。
五、Importance and Difficulties
1. Importance: 对课本的单词和句型的掌握和运用。
2.Difficulties: be 动词的单复数选用和准确运用句型。
六、Teaching tools 1.教师准备单词卡片、教学挂图、配套音响、多媒体课件、习题等。
2.学生准备课本和笔。
