C Story time 【内容与学情分析】

PEP小学英语教材，在每个单元末都安排了一则与本单元教学内容相关的故事。通过认真研读发现Story time 是一个可教点。这部分素材都与小学生的生活息息相关，符合学生的认知能力，是对一个单元中语言知识的综合运用与拓展。每个故事教学都能充分调动学生的积极性，有效地排除怕说英语的障碍，提高语言综合运用能力，从而提高学习效果。

本课是PEP英语五年级上册

Unit 4 《What can you do ?》 C Story time 部分，教学故事Frog and Snake.本单元主要学习句型Can you...? Yes, I can./No, I can’t. What can you do ? I can ... 以及多个动词及动词词组。这一故事教学的目的是让学生在阅读中进一步复习和巩固本单元的知识。通过对单元知识的巩固，读懂故事，理解并能表演故事，且得以有效拓展。

【学习目标】：

根据《义教英语课程标准》关于总目标的具体描述，结合本单元的教材内容，预设本课时的学习目标。

一、知识目标：

A.重点词汇 : sing, dance, run away,throw...into B.读懂故事，逐步理解，能表演故事。

C.能够准确使用can。 I can…

重点句型: 基础句型Can you...? Yes, I can/ No, I can’t. What can you do ? I can... 难点句型：I can...for you. 二、能力目标：

1、培养学生养成良好的“听”的习惯。

2、培养学生自主学习、合作学习的能力。

3、培养学生运用英语的交际、交流能力。

三、情感目标：

培养学生对生活的热爱，积极的生活态度。遇事要沉静，认真思考对策的良好行为习惯。

【学习过程】

You have been divided into two teams. This team is called superman and that team is called superstar. Step One： Warming- up 1、Greetings and free talk. T: Hello! Boys and girls, How are you? Nice to meet you. I know you are very helpful. Can you tell me what you can do? S1... S2... ... T: Well done! I am proud you are so helpful. But what can a dog do? What can a panda or a mouse do? Here I have a chant, from the chant, we will know .Let’s chant together, OK? 2、Chant（教材44页）学生仔细听口令，一边说一边做动作

T: Well down! Now, boys and girls, today I bring you a friend.（教师此时出示青蛙的图片并贴在黑板上）What’s this? Let’s ask :Frog, frog, What can you do?让学生重复刚才的问句。教师出示PPT，帮助学生：I can swim like you. Step Two: Presentation T: OK! Today we will learn a story about a frog. Do you want to listen and watch it? But before our story, we must learn some new words and phrases. I know you are very helpful. You can do many things for your parents. And I can do many things for my parents, too. I can cook the meals for them. I can sweep the floor for them.教师把I can...for...写在黑板上,解释for的意义。教师此时问孩子们:What can you do for somebody?学生答略。

T：Wonderful! I am very glad you are so helpful! Here comes two lovely children!此时教师用白板聚光功能显示两个孩子的头，They can do something for us. What can they do? Can you guess? 学生答略。T: Maybe! Let’s see what they can do for us.教师点击屏幕，出现单词，T: What does this word mean? How to pronounce? Who can have a try?(必要时出示thing, some的单词卡），教师出示唱歌的图片并板书，Look! They can sing.教读sing，抽生读、小组读、男女读、全班读，T: Oh! They can sing for us. Are you right? And I can sing, too. Can you sing? Have a try, please!此时抽某生唱一两句英语歌。T：I can sing. You can sing. She can sing for us.让学生跟读。

Great! Boys and girls, today here comes a robot. What can he do? 教师此时点击屏幕，学生通过观察知道机器人在投球，出现单词，T: What does this word mean? How to pronounce? Who can have a try?(必要时出示thing, red, bow的单词卡），教师出示throw的图片，贴于黑板上Look! The robot can throw the ball into the basket.教读throw ，抽生读、小组读、男女读、全班读。

I can throw the paper into the trash bin.教师用身体语言教学此单词,Can you throw this ball into your bag? Can you throw this eraser into your pencil box?让学生回Yes，I can throw this ball into my bag. Oh, here comes a rabbit.教师打开屏幕，出现一只逃跑的兔子，教师故作惊讶，What happened?点击播放视频，出现单词，T: What does this phrase mean?赞赏学生的表现，拿出图片贴于黑板上Look! The rabbit runs away.教读run away，教读时注意连读抽生读、小组读、男女读、全班读，

T：Look! The rabbit runs away .Can you do the action “run away”?抽一两个孩子边表演，教师说：He runs away.赞赏学生的表演并让学生跟读：I run away. He runs away, too. T: Boys and girls, well down! Let’s have a rest and play a game, OK? When you win, you say you team’s name loudly. Do you remember these words and phrases? OK,I believe you are smart and have good memory. I will play the video quickly, if you can say the right word or phrase, you can get one sticker for your team, if you can use it to make a sentence, you can get two stickers for your team.( PPT)显示游戏要求

给予竞争小组合理的分值，并鼓励。

T: Good, the frog is the snake’s tasty food. What’s your tasty food? Ss:... T: Can you guess what will happen? Ss: Maybe the snake will catch the frog./it will eat the frog. T: OK! T: What can you see? Teacher helps Ss answer: I can see the snake catches the frog. (clenches the frog tightly) T: Look at the snake, is she happy? But look at the frog, is she happy, too? Ss: No, she is frightened. T: Maybe! What will frog say? You can discuss in groups and tell us your answer. T: Maybe your answer is right. Let’s watch what they are talking.播放视频

T：OK. Did the snake let the frog dance? Ss: No. T: What did the snake ask the frog? How did the frog answer? Can a frog swim? Why did she say“I can’t swim”? You can discuss in groups and then tell us your answer. T help the Ss answer because the frog thinks that the snake wants to make fun of her, then she can run away. Do you like this story? Is it interesting? Can you make up a title for the story? You can discuss in groups, then choose one you like and write it down on your books. 2.T：You are so helpful.
