M6Unit1 You can play football well. 六村小学苏文珠一、教材分析
本节课选自外研社出版的《新标准英语》五年级上册第六模块第一单元《You can play football well》。运用英语评估自己和他人。通过活动使学生学会用英语做事情,获得信息,体验成功的快乐。本节课为新内容活动课。五年级的学生已经学过一些与体育运动有关的单词和句子,如:jump high ,run fast 等。而本课设计的游戏活动能提高学生学习英语的兴趣,从而提高学生的语言运用能力。
二、Teaching aims :
1、知识目标:通过学习,能够牢固掌握catch the ball, jump high, run fast,fantastic goalkeeper等与运动有关的短语
2、能力目标:学会使用恰当的句型来评价他人,如:You can jump really high. You can catch the ball well 等。在小组合作学习中,使学生具备正确评价自己和评价他人的能力。
3、情感目标:通过学习,培养学生学会欣赏和鼓励他人的良好品质。
三、重点难点:
1、can在陈述句和一般疑问句中的用法
2、课文中表示play football的一些动词短语
四、教具: 多媒体、课件、足球.
五、教学过程
Step1 Warming up:
1、Greetings:Hello, boys and girls.
2、Game time :I say ,and you do the actions . Step2 Leading in:
1、Show them some pictures to to review the words and phrases .Such as :swim、run fast , play football ......
Step 2 New words and phrases learning 1、Show a football and ask student questions to learn “well “ .
T :Can you play football ? S:Yes,I can.
T:Can you play football well? S:Yes,I can . T:Fantastic ,you can play football well ,but I can’t play football.
2、Show a picture of a football team, to learn
the phrase ,and the football players need “run fast and jump high”.
T:Can you run fast?
S1:Yes,I can. T:Can you run fast ? S2: Yes,I can. T:Really? Let us have a match. After the match .
T:Fantastic ,(says to the winner) you can jump really high . Learn :really ,fantastic
3、Use the pictures to learn the new words and phrases :really , jump high ,be good at ......
Step3 New text learning
1、T:Now we have got a football team, Lingling wants to play football.Is she a fantastic goalkeeper?Listen to the tape and answer the questions.
Can lingling run fast? Can lingling jump high? Can lingling catch the ball well?
2、Listen to the tape for the second time, ask the students to answer the question, and then check the answer together.
3、Ask the students to see the pictures and play the tape, the students read after it. At last the students read the text in pairs.
Step4 Practice
1、Ask the student to see the pictures . Use the sentences to make dialogues in pairs.
2、Match.
Step5 Homework
1.Copy the new words for three times.(新词写三遍)
2. Listen to the tape and follow to read at least 3 times.(听音模仿课文三遍)
3、Make a survey .(做调查)
