1. Teaching objectives: ①Students can master the two skilled words (Saturday Friday) . ②Students can use the sentences to make up their own dialogues. ③Students can learn talk about weeks. 2. Key points;
The two skilled words: Saturday Friday 3. Difficult points: The sentences: There are seven days in a week. 4. Teaching procedure: Step 1: Revision 1) Teacher shows pictures of week and students spell the words together. 2) Teacher asks what day is today?
Wait students answer. (设计意图:通过热身小游戏让学生对旧知识进行回忆,同时导入本课的新单词。)
Step 2: Presentation Teacher writes new words on the blackboard. Students learn the new words: Saturday Friday (设计意图:通过教师的简笔画,学生的读、拼、写让学生对新单词有深刻的印象。)
Step 3: Look and say Look at the video about the dialogue. Students listen and read the dialogue. Teacher explains: What day is today?There are seven days in a week.. Students act out the dialogue in pairs. After the show, students make up their own dialogues using the new sentences. (设计意图:学生先练习本课的对话,掌握本课的知识,在此基础之上创编新对话,进一步理解和掌握本节课的重点句型。)
Step 4: Practice 1) Play a game: students take out their word cards. One student asks, the other guess. (Four students in one group) Example:What day is today?
2) doing the exercise on the exercise book. (设计意图:通过小游戏再次调动学生学习的积极性,同时游戏和练习也进一步巩固了本课的重难点。)
Step 5: Summary Summarize what we have learned today. (设计意图:通过小结的这个环节再次让学生明确本课的重难点。)
5. Homework: 1) Recite the dialogue. 2) Preview the next lesson.
