Story time 学情分析

六年级的学生已经学习英语三年了,他们具备较好的听说读写的能力和小组合作的意识,但是有大部分学生学习英语的兴趣减弱,课堂发言不积极,处于被动学习的状态。个别学生英语学习基础薄弱,课堂口语交流存在一定难度。学生在六年级上册已经学习过一般将来时be going to do结构,,有一定的语言交际的基础。

Teaching aims and learning objectives：

1.能正确理解课文内容,能熟练朗读课文。

2.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词: clown, appear, begin 3.根据板书提示复述课文内容。

4.能初步运一般将来时句型:What are you going to ...? Are we going to ...?及其回答I’m going to ... 交流各自关于聚会的计划。

5.培养学生自主提问意识和提高学生小组合作的能力。

Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty：

重点： 1.能正确理解课文内容,能熟练朗读课文。

2.能初步运用一般将来时句型:What are you going to ...? Are we going to ...?及其回答I’m going to ... 交流各自聚会的计划。

难点: 1.能根据板书提示复述课文内容。

2.引导学生针对话题和文本进行自主提问。

1 Pre-reading

1.Brain storming T: what do you want to know about their party?

Learning tips:

1.在小组内谈论你想要了解聚会的内容。

2.用特殊疑问词what、when、where、who、why...进行提问。

2.Let’s ask S: Who are going to have a party?

Where are they going to have a party?

When are they going to have a party?

What are they going to do at the party?

What are they going to bring to the party?

Why are they going to have a party? 教师板书特殊疑问词,生通过图片回答Who 这个问题。

2 While-reading

1.Watch and answer. T: Watch the cartoon and answer about“where,when”

2.Listen ,match and say T:What are the children going to bring to the party? Let’s listen and match them. Ss: Do the exercise. (work in groups) （1)在小组内轮流问答。

（2）推荐一人汇报结果。Su Hai is going to bring …to the party.

Wang Bing is going to bring …to the party. Yang Ling is going to bring …to the party. 3. Read and answer T: What is Liu Tao going to bring to the party? Let’s read Picture Two & Picture three. (1) Read out (2) Teach the new words: balloons (3) Ss: Liu Tao is going to bring some balloons to the party. （4）If you find some new words ,you can circle them.
