Step 1 Warm-up

1.T shows some famous places and let them say out. Then let them find the correct country for them. (teach will…) There are four countries concerned: China, Australia, the UK, the USA. （设计意图：由学生熟悉的风景名胜导入“国家”这一主题。）

2.T: What do you think of the four countries? (Use the sentence pattern: … is a … country.) S: China is a beautiful country. S: The USA is a big country. …

T: Look at the picture. The children will learn one country of the four countries…

What country will they learn? Do you want to know?Let’s watch the cartoon and answer the question,OK? And I have another question: What’s the text about? （设计意图：看动画总体理解课文。并通过第二个问题中的两个小问题“How To find out?”&”What to learn”总括全课文，架构起整个文本。）

Step 3 Consolidation 1. 争当导游：小组分角色表演(Enjoy a short video of Australia’s best views from the travel agency) T: To attract more visitors, how can you make an advertisement for Australia? 2. 写一则广告：Write an advertisement with the correct words. （设计意图：旅游及宣传是本课形式和目的，故在“语言输出”环节采用了“当导游”和“写广告”的方式，形式新颖，学生积极性和主动性较高。）

备课中心发言

本节课是第六单元的第一课时，初步感知will的用法和了解澳大利亚的一些知识。will的句型我们前面已经学习过，整个新知对学生来说难度不大，学生对文本的理解也不存在困难。在本节课导入部分，以四个国家的名胜图来导入新知，并让学生分别说出这些地方所在的国家，然后让学生通过自己的印象来描述自己熟悉的国家，引出我今天要新授的关于澳大利亚的知识。教师没有直接呈现澳大利亚这个国家，而是给学生一些线索，让学生从熟悉的地点名胜引申到“国家”这一主题。让学生看动画，让学生思考what country will they learn about?以及课文前半部分how to find out about the country&what to learn about this country? 让学生了解课文大意。

课文细读时，教师首先提出第一个问题：How will the students find out about this country?，让学生学习文章的第一部分，并找到答案，并通过练习来巩固。接着教师通过LiuTao上网搜索引导学生回答第二个问题：What to learn about Australia?通过略读让学生从总体上了解Australia的相关信息，接下来通过精读

引导学生关注课文中的细节信息，在细节学习之后引导学生完善书中关于Australia的信息。之后让学生用各种形式朗读。

在巩固阶段采用“争做小导游”和“写广告”这两个任务来进行语言的输出，让学生进行口头操练，并进行适量拓展。

上完课后，我发现虽然大家都经常谈到澳大利亚，但是并不真正了解澳大利亚，尤其是用英语表达相关知识，存在的困难就更多了。在课堂上更多的时间放在了文本的理解和掌握上，课堂缺乏创新的思维，需要进行对西方国家知识的拓展。
