Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing 一、教学目标：

1.知识与技能：

1.学生能听懂、会说、认读、书写下列词汇：

培养学生的合作意识，学生之间相互合作，互相帮助。

1. 使学生能说、写相关名词的复数形式的句子。

2. 培养学生以旧带新掌握一定的语言技巧的能力。

1. 使学生掌握单词：men, women, child， children, people, many. 2. 学生能够认读、理解并运用下列基本结构：They are on their way to---. There are many ----. 四、教具准备：课件,recorder， pictures

五、教学过程：

一、Class opening and review

1. Greeting：

T:Hello,boys and girls. Ss:Hello,Miss Qiu. 2.Review: T: Look at the pictures, What’s this? Ss: Tian’anmen Square\The Palace Museum\The Great Wall. T: Beijing is great! I want to go on a trip to Beijing ,too. T:Look ,the train is ready. (出示火车图片)Let me go! T:On the train，what can I see？

二、New concepts

1.名词的复数。

T :Look at the pictures，I see（出示课件）

This is a man.These are two men. T:These are many men .(板书：man\ many men) 师指单词many，what’s the Chinese meaning ？

Ss：许多的，许多

T:Yes.(讲解可数名词man的复数变法)许多的男人，man 要变成复数形式，怎么变的？

Ss：a变成e. T: Good ！Let’s look at the picture again,say the sentence.

On the train，I see many women（师板书woman---many women,出示woman 的图片）

Ss让学生说一说woman怎样变的复数。

T:（出示孩子的图片） And Look，a boy is a child，a girl is a child，too。板书child 让学生猜出单词的汉意。

T: Boys and girls are children。

板书：child –--many children，让学生说一说child怎样变复数。

T:Men,women and children are people.(板书people，讲解单词people，让学生理解其意义。) 设计意图：以模拟坐火车去北京旅行为情境进行教学，在与学生自由交流中引出重点单词的复数概念和使用方法，符合小学英语教学新课标的要求。

2. People in Beijing (1）T: The train arrives in Beijing. Look,I’m here.（出示北京站图片）LiMing ，Jenny，Danny and Mrs.Li arrive in Beijing，too .They are on their way to the hotel. T(出示课件) When do they arrive in Beijing? What do they see on their way to the hotel? What do you know about Beijing? Read and listen，then answer. T:生听录音，自由读课文，找出答案。同桌互相说一说。

指名回答（读课文上的句子），多找几人说。教师提醒学生注意复数名词的读音。

T: What do I see on my way to the hotel?

2、Look and match

T: It’s in No2.Look and match,then tell me. 让学生自己看图，读句子，完成标号，教师巡视，用课件集体订正。 T:Excenllent! 3、小组活动，运用提升

T:In Beijing,I go to the park,Isee many people there. What are they doing? Do you want to know? Ss:Yes. T:（幻灯片展示）Please talk with your parterner. 例如: A girl is singing . Many men are walking. 小组活动，择优展示。

四、Homework：

1、熟读本课课文

2、搜索一些有人物的图片，写出他们在做什么，注意名词的单、复数。板书设计：
