Step1: Pre—listening activities Preview

Ask the Ss to translate the following Chinese into English. First ask the Ss to put them into English orally, then let them write English down without looking at the textbooks. 1.难而有趣 2足球比赛 3.星期一，25号 4.Bill的生日聚会 句子：1.David最喜欢的科目是什么？

2．Leading in Show some pictures with days of the week and get Ss to ask and answer: A: Which day is the first day of a week? B: Sunday. A: What’s your favorite day? B: Friday. 整个课时的设计比较合理，引入生动自然，贴切，能使学生快速明了课题的主要话题，各个教学步骤衔接自然、过度流畅。。如有任务型教学，视听型教学，还有很多活动，让学生在贴切语境中，围绕目标语言展开一系列的听、说、读、写的活动，全面提高学生的能力。本人按照该教学设计在班级展开教学实践之后，发现有如下亮点:

首先我本着自主、合作、探究的教学模式进行了大胆的尝试。让女生和男生分开来坐下，女生坐一、二两组，男生坐三、四两组，然后男生和女生进行PK,并精心制作了一张PK的flash动画，整堂课经过大约五个回合的较量(包括do the chant, work in pairs, group work, guessing game and make the report等不同的教学活动)，分出胜负，最后对winners进行奖

励，并适时地对他们进行情感教育“victory belongs to the people who can properly cooperate with their teammates and challenge themselves”

当然对losers也要进行鼓励，此时零点乐队的“相信自己”是再适合不过了，告诉他们“Believe in yourself,

you can do it”。这是我第一次尝试，教学效果极佳，学生参与的热情极其高涨，几乎人人参与进来，完全是在寓教于乐的课堂氛围中顺利完成教学目标，而且在无形当中对他们进行了情感教育，可以说情感教育与课堂活动完全融为一体、不着痕迹。
